This begins the story of Nicola Hart and Cash Garrison. Cash is best friends with her brother, Roman. Together they are more like the three musketeers. Growing up together and protecting one another.

Now they are at college and Nicola has lost hope of Cash ever noticing her as a woman and not just a friend. They always flirt - and now even some kisses too. Why does he always walk away? Can she find a way to keep him close?

Cash cannot help how he feels about Nicola. But, the obvious is that she is his best friends little sister and so he must keep his hands off. That is getting harder to do as they seem to come back to one another and the sparks keep flying.

Finally, they choose to be together. They know there will be consequences. They do not care. Nicola has waited long enough. Cash has pushed himself to the limit. But can they keep it a secret from those they love? Should they even keep it a secret? Isn't love a good reason to shout it to the world? Cash buys a ring....
