Travis “Hawk” Hawkins finds himself rescuing a damsel in distress.  Only real problem?  She takes her time in realizing she really is in distress.  Bigger problem? The heavy attraction between them that is getting hotter.......

Lila is not sure which is worse.  Having family that bosses her around and does not respect her or her ambitions, or meeting a man thousands of miles from home who seems just like them that she is enormously attracted to.  Maybe it really is a bit of both.  He just keeps turning out to be the good guy.

This was an incredible story right form the get go.  I was seriously stuck inside the book and had a hard time putting it down.  Each page brings more to the adventure, and even more sexy heat.  These characters are a treat to read.  I sure hope we visit them again.  What a great start to the new Aegis Security series.  I give this a 4/5 Kitty's Paws UP!

His boss' sister is being stalked, so Brian Walker, being the closest to her vacation spot, is assigned to keep an eye on her. Unfortunately, Grace's friend convinces her to jump the sexy stranger's bones, and Brian soon finds it really hard to keep his hands off her.


The premise with the stalker was good, but everything else wasn't. The stalker was too predictable, Brian's pretense screamed trouble later in the story, both leads were one-dimensional, and the plot, beside the stalker (and that was minor), was nonexistent.

And since there was no plot, the "story" had to be filled with something to fill the pages. Why not make it sex. And since it was just filler, the sex read like PWP, there was no chemistry, no heat, nothing...The characters just went through with the moves.
This story had absolutely no "soul".

The Delight

Getting an intro into the Aegis Security that makes me want to find out more about everything. Sexy good times on and off the slopes with a little thrill of who done it!

Songwriter Grace Ryder is taking a much needed break in Vail to hide away from her stalker, but also to finish writing two songs she is under contract for.  Alone in the bar, she keeps seeing a guy around the resort that is drawing her interest. A few drinks in, she approaches him with a line that hooked him and made me snort. Jumping feet first she seduces him back to her room for a night full of lusty sex. But big brother has sent an Aegis operative to watch her. Brian Walker’s one job is to watch her, keep her safe, but don’t get involved. Oops!

The stalker has followed her to Vail and now the cat’s out of the bag on who her secret lover is. This is a very quick romp between two people who needed each other. Big brothers isn’t too happy, but who cares! Ski slopes, sex everywhere, a stalker on the loose and big brother breathing down their necks…this was a fun escape into another world!
