Happy Halloween!

Seen in a Corsica winery, last week.  No pumpkins, but let nobody say the French (well, the Corsicans, anyway) don't keep the spirit of the season.

And with that, I'll raise a glass to Moonlight and OB for hosting another fabulous Halloween Bingo!  I had an enormous amount of fun, and it was great watching everybody else's Halloween reads and comparing notes.

Thank you so much!

Reading progress update: I've read 332 out of 332 pages.
Wyrd Sisters - Terry Pratchett

One of those Discworld books that only get better with every single reread.  Pratchett absolutely hit his stride with this ... one of my all-time favorites, by far not for the Shakespeare references alone.

Rebecca - Daphne du Maurier,Sally Beauman
Rebecca - Daphne du Maurier,Anna Massey
Rebecca (Audiocd) - Daphne du Maurier
Rebecca - Daphne du Maurier

Final square -- revisiting Rebecca with the idea of a comparison review of the 3 audio versions I own (narrated by Anna Massey, Emma Fielding, and Emilia Fox, respectively).

Reading progress update: I've listened to 172 out of 943 minutes.
A Desperate Fortune - Susanna Kearsley,Katherine Kellgren

23 squares down, 2 to go.

So far it's mostly enjoyable -- let's hope it's going to stay that way.  Turns out I could also have included that in my "Summer of Spies" reading ...
