Why i wrote this book ("Forgiveness the Flower") and how it can help others
Forgiveness the Flower - Richard racer

I came to a place in life where I realized how much damage bitterness had done to my soul. At first, I found forgiveness to be ugly, because it meant forgiving the unforgivable. With a little faith I came to know forgiveness as a beautiful friend who gave me power I never knew I could have. This book will help show others a power that anyone can possess through a realistic view of forgiveness.

Why i wrote this book ("Freddy's Fruit") and how it can help others
Freddy's Fruit - Richard Racer

I was in life's “pig pen” trying to make sense of what I was going through when I remembered a sermon about a prodigal son. I re-read the story and admired the change of perspective the son had after living such a wasteful life. This story will help others see there is redemption no matter how bad the situation. All one needs to do is change the way they think.

Heartbeat
#Fate - Cambria Hebert

This is book #6, in the GearShark series.  This book should not be read as a standalone novel.  It contains spoilers, and for complete understanding of this series, these should be read in the order intended.

Drew experiences a tragedy and the whole family comes together to help him and Trent.  Little does he know what is being done and said while he is not there to witness.  Good thing this family is built solid.

Trent faces his own fears as well as an old enemy who tries to come between his happiness.  With his family around him, can he stay strong?  When it all comes down to it love will always find a way.

I found this story very emotional.  I am very grateful the author wrote it and put it out there for us to read.  These characters are very real to me and I was so grateful to have the chance to check in on where they are now.  The old faves are there too and it is just a fabulous read.  I found the story deep and dark and compelling.  The characters made my heart ease and despite the tears, I am glad to have been there.  I give this a 5/5 Kitty's Paws UP!

Racer
Racer - Katy Evans Racer - Katy Evans

Racer Tate stole my heart!! Even if you haven't read his parents' love story, you will love Racer and Lana's story. New adult romance is a hit or miss genre for me, but Racer is certainly a hit!

Lana's mother took off a few years ago, her father is dying of cancer, and their family business, HW Racing is floundering. Lana has always been the sunshine of her family, trying to keep her father's dreams alive and her brothers spirits up. So, she is determined to find a driver for their F1 car. What she finds, however, is the best street racer in the world. Can Racer Tate turn into a winning F1 driver?

Racer is as complex as his father. Diagnosed with Bipolar 1 disorder like his father, Racer is a risk taker. He is aware of his medical condition and like his father before him, does a lot to manage it. He exercises frequently, eats well, avoids alcohol, and sticks to his regime. However, its always the elephant in the room for him. He is afraid that Lana won't be able to handle his diagnosis. Regardless, he knows immediately, Lana is the girl he will marry. He finally understands what his parents have is real and not just a lucky event. Now he has to convince Lana he is a good bet. She doesn't want to get involved with the driver for their team. Plus, her brothers are a bit over protective. None of this deters Racer, and its super hot!

Lana has her own issues. Her first love, best friend David, died when they were teenagers. She has never quite recovered and is terrified to love anyone because they always leave. Her mom abandoned them, David died, her father is dying. She worries that getting involved with Racer will end in tragedy. Plus, she sees him as an employee of her family's company and therefore off limits.

These two burn SLOW but so hot. The sexual tension is off the charts. Their desire for each other will ignite your kindle so be prepared.

  • POV: dual 1st
  • Tears: no
  • Trope: racer car driver, family business, famous
  • Triggers: none
  • Series/Standalone: stand alone within an interconnected series
  • Cliffhanger: no
  • HEA: yes

Drumline by Stacy Kestwick, Fighting for Honor by JB Salsbury, Anti-Stepbrother by Tijan...then you will probably like Racer!
