Review! A Magical Highland Solstice (Highland Holiday Stories / Order of the Dragon Knights) Mary Morgan!

I am visiting the Highlands and Laird  Cormac Murray as he risks everything to claim the love a woman not of his time! Enjoy and don't forget to add A MAGICAL HIGHLAND SOLSTICE by Mary Morgan to your shelves!

Laird Cormac Murray has witnessed how love destroyed his own father after the death of his mother, and he vows to never take a wife. Yet, when he comes upon a bewildered lass traveling alone, he finds his heart will no longer listen to his mind. In the end, Cormac risks everything to claim the love of a woman not of his time.

Eve Brannigan loves helping others and baking. After winning a contest, she is stunned to learn that the Clan Murray has requested her assistance to cater to their guests during the holiday season. When a lost path in Scotland leads her to a handsome but gruff Highlander, Eve fights the temptation to allow love to enter her heart for the first time.

Can the Fae and the magic of the Yule season bring together two souls who have forsaken love? Or will tragedies from the past separate the lovers forever?

He witnessed how love destroyed his father after the death of his mother, so Laird Cormac Murray has vowed to never take a wife. But his heart won’t listen to his mind when he comes across a bewildered lass traveling alone. After winning a contest, Eve Brannigan is stunned to learn that Clan Murray has requested her assistance in catering their holiday season, but the Fae and the magic of the Yule season has a surprise in store for Eve in the form of a handsome but gruff Highlander.

This holiday romance is a wonderfully magical and feisty read that has readers wanting to experience a little fae magic of their own. The characters are strong, brave and easily grab readers’ attentions right from the start. The chemistry between Cormac (whom certainly deserves some happiness after helping the ‘Dragon Knights fight evil) and Eve sizzles with electricity and singes readers with its heat throughout the romance it slowly unlocks the hearts of two souls who had locked them away and thrown away the key.

Lots of emotional turmoil, thrilling suspense and excitement flow the pages of this time travel romance as Eve finds herself in the past which of course provides some hardships for anyone but Eve takes to it, with enviable ease. Readers can’t help but be completely enthralled with this cute and delightful Highland romance that defies time and blends magic and true love into a Happily Ever After.

4 Star Gods
Taken By the Gods - Carly Fall

She has a dark past, but it’s Ana Drake’s present that heats up during the night when she finds herself in the fiery embraces of Poseidon, Hades and Dionysus as they visit her dreams. Ana’s world is turned upside down, though when the seams of the universe open and paranormal entities flood the town including her three Greek Gods, especially since they bring some disturbing news.

The first story in this ‘More Than Men’ trilogy is quite a fascinating read with strong, bold characters that demand the readers’ attention. The story starts off hot and just keeps getting hotter as Ana is faced with the prospect that her dreams could come very real if she can open herself up to the possibility but of course that it quite an emotional bomb which has turmoil flowing from the pages. But the chemistry between the three gods and Ana is quite undeniable and the passion is scorching hot while the romance and courting is quite sweet.

The plot is fast paced and full of suspense and excitement as the Ana has also caught the attention of Zeus and his selfish desires which if he claims Ana makes her a target of Hera. This is obviously an ongoing story but this part is delightful, exhilarating read with an epic magical battle that threatens to destroy Ana or at the very least puts the future that Poseidon, Hades, and Dionysus hopes to have with Ana in jeopardy.

Katja Desjarlais is a music teacher by day and a paranormal romance writer by moonlight. She is an unapologetic music addict with an obsession for bad Bach puns despite her irrational aversion to Baroque. Her favorite words include ‘plethora’ and ‘dapper’, and she is physically repulsed by the word ‘moist’. Katja’s interest in the paranormal can be traced to her early childhood movie choices and to the collection of books she has stored on her phone for reading emergencies.

Desjarlais lives in northern Canada with her husband, three children, and polydactyl cat. Her summers are spent driving across North America with her family, while the long Canadian winters are made more bearable by attending heavy metal concerts.

New Release Review! The Blacksmith Queen (The Scarred Earth Saga #1) G.A. Aiken!

Good Morning, Readers! Today I am starting off the week with a visit to the Hill Lands where the Old King has died and a prophecy about a new queen has emerged. Enjoy and don't forget to add The Blacksmith Queen by G.A. Aiken to your shelves!

When a prophesy brings war to the Land of the Black Hills, Keeley Smythe must join forces with a clan of mountain warriors who are really centaurs in a thrilling new fantasy romance series from New York Times bestselling author G.A. Aiken.

The Old King Is Dead

With the demise of the Old King, there’s a prophesy that a queen will ascend to the throne of the Black Hills. Bad news for the king’s sons, who are prepared to defend their birthright against all comers. But for blacksmith Keeley Smythe, war is great for business. Until it looks like the chosen queen will be Beatrix, her younger sister. Now it’s all Keeley can do to protect her family from the enraged royals.

Luckily, Keeley doesn’t have to fight alone. Because thundering to her aid comes a clan of kilt-wearing mountain warriors called the Amichai. Not the most socially adept group, but soldiers have never bothered Keeley, and rough, gruff Caid, actually seems to respect her. A good thing because the fierce warrior will be by her side for a much longer ride than any prophesy ever envisioned …

The Old King has died and a prophecy that a queen will ascend to the throne of the Black Hills has emerged and the king’s sons are prepared to defend their birthright against all comers including each other. Blacksmith Keeley Smythe is benefiting from the war until it looks like the chosen queen will be her younger sisters, now it’s all she can do to protect her family from the enraged royals. Luckily she doesn’t have to fight alone, because the clan of kilt-wearing mountain warriors called the Amicahi have joined the quest.

The author has given her fascinating world life once again with some truly wonderful additional elements that readers can definitely appreciate. The dragons may not be a full part of this story, but it takes place in the same world, just a different part. The characters of this new series are strong and blood thirsty as the others and there definitely grab all of the reader’s attention from the very beginning. While Keeley reminds readers of the Human Queen, she has her own refreshing personality that readers can definitely enjoy and the budding relationship that is building between her and Caid promises to be epic.

This fast paced story is full of adventure, suspense, excitement and emotional angst, but the way these characters deal with that turmoil can be a bit frightening as well as charming. The author makes this blood thirsty world seem so very reasonable that readers can’t help but have fun and be delighted with the captivating characters, which includes centaurs, dwarves, barbarians, witches, and wild horses, while they are completely enthralled by this riveting and exhilarating adventure.
