Frankie and Shannon were getting married and she knew she'd be marrying the rest of the Seal team.
Story also follows TJ who's a Seal on the team and we learn of his past history of growing up in foster homes and how much he missed from being raised in a typical family setting.
TJ is the godfather of the baby girl she's due to have but Frankie dies in a mission and TJ is the last person she wants around.
Very explicit sexual scenes as he tries to comfort her and she welcomes it.
When she travels back home to her parents he wonders if it's him she's running from... Wish there was more of the story rather than 70% of bed time. Interesting learning more about TJ's family...
Then the real action starts taking over the majority of the rest of the book. Excerpt from the next book in the series is included. Author bio, other works by the author and reviews.

Mark and Nick Dunn were Navy Seals . Nick introduced Mark to his sister Sophie and she was in the last stages of cancer. They had laid Sophie to rest four months ago and Mark was still a shell of his former self. Then he meets an Italian girl and spends the night in bed even though neither can speak the others language [ or so Mark thinks]. Mark meets up with his seal brothers and boards to the cruise ship to send Gunny’s ashes to the sea. Gunny had been a good friend to the guys of Seal team 3. Then Mark discovers the girl he had sex with was a dancer on the ship and half American he was a little angry but got over it. Her name was Sophia but Sophia was engaged but in an arranged marriage to another man. Sophia is not happy about this. Sophia and Mark talk about her engagement. Mark then learns the ship is being taken over by terrorists.

This is one of those books where you don’t hate it but you don’t love it either. I like the action in the book but felt it was a little far fetched but also their was too much going on and you couldn’t really enjoy the story like you wanted to. I like the characters of this story . the twists and turns were pretty good also.

TJ’s best friend Frankie is marrying Shannon and TJ wishes it was him marrying Shannon. TJ and Frankie are Navy SEALs. Frankie with his dying breath asked TJ  to take care of his family and TJ did promise and a promise made to a brother SEAL was always kept. Shannon has Courtney and then her and T J start to get close.

A little disappointing. How did Shannon forget her husband so quickly especially just having his child. But the story was still fairly good The characters were pretty good the plot well I would have liked to have seen it work but somehow just didn’t come together for me.

Rory Kennedy is a SEAL and a mutual friend of those who care about Meagan Palmer.  They are instantly attacted to one another.  She is afraid of how she feel since she has been hurt by a man who cheated on her in the past.  A man who cannot take no for an answer.

This story is very intense.  We hear the terrorist thoughts as well as the hero.  It gets more complicated because everyone thinks Meagan is not in danger.  She is left out on her own while the other families are moved as the danger builds.

Rory is not sure he can see a future with anyone.  He knows he loves her and she has said she loves him too.  Is that enough?  They both are gun shy and then tragedy strikes.  Can they save the innocent lives that are at stake?

This book is narrated by J.D. Hart. I have listened to books he has narrated before.  I find his smooth, clear voice makes the book even better. You can hear the emotions and the inflections as he is reading the book.I like that this enhanced the story and made me want to add the audio files for more of my books.

Really great story just full of suspense! I happily recommend this book and its series. Just will tell you if you already love military romances, or this series - it is well worth it. There is nothing like having the sound of a great voice read you a sexy book! Warning: Due to language I recommend for readers over 18+ only. I give this audiobook version a 4/5 Kitty's Paws UP!
