I Am Zlatan Ibrahimovic
I Am Zlatan Ibrahimović - Zlatan Ibrahimović,David Lagercrantz,Ruth Urbom Fajnie napisana. Ciekawa.

Hunted (League of Peoples, Bk. 4)
Hunted (League of Peoples, Bk. 4) - James Alan Gardner HUNTED is book 5 in the House of Night series. It is important that you read the others before this one. These novels do not stand alone.

The book order is:

MARKED
BETRAYED
CHOSEN
UNTAMED
HUNTED

HUNTED picks up exactly where UNTAMED leaves off. Zoey and the gang are regrouping in the tunnels that the red fledglings have been calling home after escaping from the House of Night. An ice storm has crippled the city, making any further retreat impossible. Stevie Rae is badly injured and while Zoey, Aphrodite, and Darius try to save her, Damien, Erik, Jack, and the twins try to secure the tunnels.

Zoey’s main concern is stopping Neferet and Kalona from gaining anymore power. They already have the House of Night under lock-down and are taking focus away from Nyx and if Zoey’s visions are correct, things are only going to get worse.

After a near fatal attack, Zoey has to be rushed to the House of Night for proper healing. While there, she reconnects with Stark and gets some valuabe information about the situation of the school.

HUNTED seems like a “bridge” book in the series. The plot advancements must be needed to set up the next book in the series. So, needless to say, there isn’t a lot of new information in this book. However, Zoey does fall victim to her difficult love life again. *smirk*

Touched: The Jerry Sandusky Story
Touched: The Jerry Sandusky Story - Jerry Sandusky This was my first time reading anything by this author and I was surprised by how much I enjoyed her book. I say "surprised" because 'Touched' is not a dark urban fantasy like my usual fare tends to be. I learned about 'Touched' from a book blurb via one of my RSS subscriptions that piqued my interest enough to check it out from my local library, Within the first chapter it was obvious I had a good story in my hands. We're introduced to the town of Jexville, Mississippi whose townsfolk are sweltering under the heat of summer and oppressive beliefs. It's 1926 and things like dancing, laughing, and being a woman of strength and individuality are not welcomed. It is into this environment that 16yo mail order bride, Mattie, comes to be married to the town barber, Elikah, a man as handsome as he is twisted. Anyway, not to write a spoiler, I'll just say that this book touches on how evil can lie disguised under righteousness and religion and that fear and bigotry can lead to disastrous, final actions. If, like me, you've never read a Carolyn Haines book I'd say this is a good place to start, the story is a page turner and the characters of Mattie, Duncan, Johanna and Floyd are the kind that will stay with you even after you've read the last page.
