Be my home
SEAL My Home: Bad Boys of SEAL Team 3 - Sharon Hamilton

Rory Kennedy is a SEAL and a mutual friend of those who care about Meagan Palmer.  They are instantly attacted to one another.  She is afraid of how she feel since she has been hurt by a man who cheated on her in the past.  A man who cannot take no for an answer.

This story is very intense.  We hear the terrorist thoughts as well as the hero.  It gets more complicated because everyone thinks Meagan is not in danger.  She is left out on her own while the other families are moved as the danger builds.

Rory is not sure he can see a future with anyone.  He knows he loves her and she has said she loves him too.  Is that enough?  They both are gun shy and then tragedy strikes.  Can they save the innocent lives that are at stake?

This book is narrated by J.D. Hart. I have listened to books he has narrated before.  I find his smooth, clear voice makes the book even better. You can hear the emotions and the inflections as he is reading the book.I like that this enhanced the story and made me want to add the audio files for more of my books.

Really great story just full of suspense! I happily recommend this book and its series. Just will tell you if you already love military romances, or this series - it is well worth it. There is nothing like having the sound of a great voice read you a sexy book! Warning: Due to language I recommend for readers over 18+ only. I give this audiobook version a 4/5 Kitty's Paws UP!

SEAL My Home: Bad Boys of SEAL Team 3 - Sharon Hamilton

SEAL My Home

by Sharon Hamilton
Blurb:
Bad boy Rory Kennedy was raised in foster care, bouncing in and out of trouble along the way. He finds his true family and real brothers as a Navy SEAL, one of the Navy’s elite warriors. When his BUD/S instructor barked the SEAL’s Motto: Only Easy Day Was Yesterday, he knew he had found home.

Megan Palmer works in a bookstore and finds her passion in life through reading steamy romance novels. Her brief affair with a man she later found out was married has left her damaged, until she meets the handsome SEAL, who stands ready to open her world and give her things she’s only dreamed.

On a skiing trip, Rory suffers a possible career-ending injury and also comes face to face with a past he never knew of, and a family who had abandoned him. His relationship with Megan is tested to the breaking point as Rory wades through the dark waters of recovery and whether or not he can live without the life he loves. A home-grown terrorist cell forces his hand and he discovers his true purpose.

Whatever she’d bottled up had come loose. Her appetite met her need, which should have scared him. But for the first time, he wanted her to need him. He could fill he up. She was starving for it.

And so was he.

She was sleeping, and he fell into her rhythm, inhaling when she did, exhaling also in tandem, feeling her soft sex crowning his thigh. He thought of all the lovely things he wanted to say to her, but knew he shouldn’t. He knew the speaking part would mess up what he now felt, something he rarely felt.

Happiness.

He tried to breathe without making a sound, hoping that this time together, which was as precious to him as the love making part, was prolonged for as long as possible. She was fire and ice. The salt and the caramel. She tucked inside the hard exterior of his soul and shivered, rested there under his protection.

He must have twitched or done something, because she startled and rose up quickly, rolling to the side and covering herself up. He could almost feel her heavy thoughts tossing about the room as he viewed her light pink spine glowing in the near moonlight as she sat on the edge of the bed away from him. An inch of her butt crack was in shadow, but the alabaster surface of her skin was flawless and made her look like a statue.

He inhaled without a sound, and let his index finger trace down the middle of her back, traveling over the ridges of her vertebra. She stiffened at first, then rolled her head to the side and killed him with the blue gaze that showed him she was still hungry.

“Come here, Megan,” he said, worried he’d been a little too loud.

She touched her shoulder with her ear in a shy move that belied her real feelings for him. He could see it in the coral shaded corners of her lips, how they quirked up at the ends.
Seal My Home is my second read from this author and to be honest, I was a bit skeptical about reading this installment in the seal brotherhood series. My skepticism stemmed from the fact that my first encounter with the author’s work did not live up to my expectations. Needless to say I decided to give it a try.

Now that I have completed the story writing the review was not as easy as I hoped it would be. It’s not that I didn’t like the story. I did like it, but it did not bowl me over. This is a romantic suspense story, as such  I was expecting a nail biting, action packed and an edge of your seat read.

Seal My Home is the story of Rory Kennedy and Megan Palmer. Rory is a navy seal and Megan works in a book store.  Rory had a very rough life growing up. He never knew what family was about until he joined the navy seals.  Megan had lost her family during 9/11.  From the moment Rory laid eyes on Megan he knew he wanted to be with her. Megan is attracted to him, but is a bit wary as she had been burned by a previous relationship. The chemistry between them was burning hot.

The concept of the story was good; however, I felt that the author could have provided more details on the main characters. This would have allowed me to better connect with them.  The pacing of the story was slow. The pace did not increase until about seventy percent (70%) of the book. Due to this it took me some time to get through the story.

This was not a bad story and there are a few persons out there who enjoyed it. As such, it is likely that you may enjoy it too.

SEAL My Home: Bad Boys of SEAL Team 3 - Sharon Hamilton
Rory and Megan start out pretty hot and despite a few setbacks, they burn up the pages when they get together. Their relationship progressed very quickly even though they don't actually see each other that much. Megan really surprised me with they way she handled herself towards the end of the book, I didn't think she had it in her. I love the camaraderie between the SEALs and the way they had Rory's back when he needed them, even if it meant going against orders.  I totally did not expect the twist with his relationship with one of the other characters.

Surprises inside ... and HOT guys!
SEAL's Promise: Bad Boys of SEAL Team 3, Book 1 (SEAL Brotherhood Series 8) - Sharon Hamilton

T.J Talbot is freaking out!  He is watching his best friend, Frankie marry the woman of both their dreams, and she won't even talk to him.  Suddenly things are about to get real.

Shannon Moore has thought that T.J. did not like her.  Only wants to annoy her.  Takes her husband away from her time with him when he is home. Until tragedy strikes and suddenly Frankie is gone.

T.J. promised Frankie he would love and look after Shannon and the baby.  While trying to fulfill his wishes, more trouble abounds.  Shannon's mom appears to hate him.  Terrorists are gunning for military family members.  T.J. is just trying to heal and do what his best friend asked him to do.  Until he fell in love....

Shannon does not know what to believe.  Is it the promise that keeps him around?  Would he love her if Frankie had not asked him to watch over her?  Would he even have bothered to check on them?  Trust is the key and they are learning to trust one another.

More problems and surprises are in store.  I sure do not want to tell you everything!  I can tell you there is never a dull moment and the heat between them is smokin' hot!   This is book # 8 in the Seal Team Brotherhood series.  Be sure to catch the other books in the series, check in here to go to Goodreads.  I enjoyed this book and I give it a 4/5 Kitty's Paws UP!
