July 26- Aug 3 What would the world be like if 80 percent of the population manifested superpowers called “Quirks” at age four? Heroes and villains would be battling it out everywhere! Being a hero would mean learning to use your power, but where would you go to study? The Hero Academy of course! But what would you do if you were one of the 20 percent who were born Quirkless? Middle school student Izuku Midoriya wants to be a hero more than anything, but he hasn’t got an ounce of power in him. With no chance of ever getting into the prestigious U.A. High School for budding heroes, his life is looking more and more like a dead end. Then an encounter with All Might, the greatest hero of them all, gives him a chance to change his destiny…
Review: Izuku midoriya is quirkless they live in a world where people have quirks which are superpowers .izuku wants to go to U.A one day he meets all might a famous superhero and he asks him if its possible to be a hero without a quirk and he says no. But then Izuku sees his classmate Bakugo who has bullied Izuku since he was a kid he gets attacked by a villain and Izuku tries to help him .After Bakugo is saved all might says to Izuku hes going to pass down his power to him cause he doesn't know how long he will be able to be in his super hero form since he got attacked by a villain. But all might trains him so his body can handle his power . They have to do a test to get into the school and there he meets uraraka he saves him from tripping she has a zero gravity quirk. Izuku is in the test and he still has zero points but he saves uraraka he still has zero he doesn't know if he will get into the school but he gets the letter he got accepted for rescuing uraraka. The hero course teacher is definitely interesting he says who has the lowest score will be expelled Izuku focuses his power to one finger so he wont shatter all his bones and the teacher says hes not actually expelling loved this volume I watch the anime and love it.

When a guy named Martin Nathaniel Munroe II texts you, it should be obvious who you're talking to. Except there's two of them (it's a long story), and Haley thinks she's talking to the one she doesn't hate.
A question about a class project rapidly evolves into an all-consuming conversation. Haley finds that Martin is actually willing to listen to her weird facts and unusual obsessions, and Martin feels like Haley is the first person to really see who he is. Haley and Martin might be too awkward to hang out in real life, but over text, they're becoming addicted to each other.
There's just one problem: Haley doesn't know who Martin is. And Martin doesn't know that Haley doesn't know. But they better figure it out fast before their meet-cute becomes an epic meet-disaster . . .
Review : this book was really cute it's a book told in text . Haley gets a text one day from Martin the problem is in her class there is two martians they are cousins but he introduces himself as the good one. They start talking daily they get along make each other laugh only problem I figured out early on she thinks shes talking to one Martin but she really is talking to the one she complains about to said martain . Over the summer they are both working and they are dealing with some issues family and otherwise. Martain wants to tell haley that he's the martain shes talking to. But things keep getting in the way . Haley ends up going to an escape room with her friends and both martins are going to be there and she sees martain kissing her friend Sarah just not the martain shes texting and shes mad . When the Martin shes texting gets in an accident she gets a text from her ex boyfriend Jack who is best friends with Martin and he tells her the truth . Martin talks to haley about the truth and when she gets back from a convention and invites him over .this book delves on sexuality also haley is demisexual and Martin is Bisexual . Haley tells Martin she likes him the ending was so cute .
P.s I think if your going to read this book read with audiobook it makes it better experience since they use multiple voices
Boy meets boy. Boys become friends. Boys fall in love. An LGBTQ+ graphic novel about life, love, and everything that happens in between: this is the second volume of HEARTSTOPPER, for fans of The Art of Being Normal, Holly Bourne and Love, Simon.
Nick and Charlie are best friends. Nick knows Charlie's gay, and Charlie is sure that Nick isn't.

Heartstopper is about friendship, loyalty and mental illness. It encompasses all the small stories of Nick and Charlie's lives that together make up something larger, which speaks to all of us.
Review: I loved this volume even more . This is after Charlie kisses nick and he's afraid he ruined the friendship but then he comes over to his house and Nick kisses him again. They start secretly dating cause Nick doesn't know what he is and Charlie says he may be bisexual. Charlie invites Nick to his birthday bowling with his friends and some get along better than others with Nick . Nick invites Charlie out to see a scary movie with him and his friends and Hary the dick is there and Nick stands up for Charlie. Nick comes out to his mom which was so sweet can't wait for volume 3.
