CASSIE'S MARVELOUS MUSIC LESSONS by Sheri Poe-Pape
Cassie's Marvelous Music Lessons - Sheri... Cassie's Marvelous Music Lessons - Sheri Poe-Pape

Cassie's new owner, Mrs. Applebaum, is a music teacher. Cassie wants to teach her students also, but she gets told to go to her bed. Cassie finally has enough of her bed so she shows Mrs. Applebaum she knows music. Mrs. Applebaum gets an idea and makes a surprise for Cassie. What is the surprise? Will Cassie be allowed to teach the children?

I enjoyed this story. Cassie has definite ideas about how she can contribute to the lessons, but will Mrs. Applebaum let her? I liked how Mrs. Applebaum brought Cassie into the lessons. It was a perfect solution. I appreciated how Cassie wanted to be involved with the students as well as their acceptance to her.

I look forward to reading more of Cassie.

IF DOGS COULD DO CHORES by Jacqueline Smith-Induni
If Dogs Could Do Chores - Jacquelyn Smith-Induni

What if dogs could do chores!  This book shows what dogs can do--all our chores.  There is also a section in the back for how dogs do help us.  The drawings were fantastic!  They fit the story well.  Very well done!

When the Dogs Don't Bark by Angela Gallop
When the Dogs Don't Bark: A Forensic Scientist’s Search for the Truth - Angela Gallop This book is more of a memoir than a technical discussion of forensic science. Angela Gallop discusses her 40 year career as a forensic scientist, providing a basic outline of several of her most memorable cases, along with the history and development of forensic sciences within the UK, as well as the importance of forensics in criminal justice. Interesting and informative, but a bit bland.

Must Love Dogs...and Hockey - Kelly Jamieson

Lilly feels like her life is falling apart.  She has lost another job, and it has her feeling low about herself.  Then she gets an additional dog walking client.  He intrigues her, and she finds him incredibly attractive.

Easton is totally enamored with Lilly.  Right from the moment they meet he cannot help but think she is so beautiful.  She seems to love dogs, and is great with them.  Since he finds himself unexpectedly the caregiver of a puppy he needs her help.

This story has such a great balance.  I felt like it had a great base story. Was full of humor, angst, heat, and more.  I had to read it all in one sitting, since I did not want to put it down.  The characters are meant to be and it shows. I give it a 4/5 Kitty's Paws UP!

What Kind Of Pet Should You Get According To Your Zodiac Sign

What Kind Of Pet Should You Get According To Your Zodiac Sign

Choosing to get a pet is not a decision you should make lightly. You’re not just getting a toy, it’s a friend you’ll have for years to come. It’s going to rely on you to feed it, take care of it and entertain it, so it’s crucial to evaluate whether you’re even ready for such a responsibility. There are so many things to consider. Are you financially stable enough to get a pet? Cause it’s not just their food you’ll have to pay for, vet visits can cost a pretty penny too. How much time do you have that you can spend with your pet? What kind of lifestyle do you lead? Active or laid back? You need a pet that will match those needs too. And even when you’re done answering those questions you still need to figure out what kind of pet should you get according to your zodiac sign ? in terms of temperament and character. A fun way to decided that is to look at your Zodiac sign, since it can be a good way to sum up your personality.
