Plum Lovin’
Plum Lovin' - Janet Evanovich

Stephanie Plum, Book 12.5

I Picked Up This Book Because: Continue the series

The Characters:

Stephanie Plum:
Diesel:
Grandma Mazur, Lula, Connie, Tank,

The Story:

I’m not sure how I feel about these between the number books. Barely and Joe or Ranger, Diesel is questionable, little action and Stephanie didn’t even blow up a car. She did have a minor crash so I suppose that’s something.

Overall this left me pretty lukewarm. I’ll continue the series because I love the characters.

The Score Card:

Orchard Valley Brides, Debbie Macomber
Orchard Valley Brides: NorahLone Star Lovin' by Macomber, Debbie(July 27, 2010) Mass Market Paperback - Debbie Macomber

I really enjoyed these two romances. I barrowed this from my mother-in-law. It;s a set of two stories, Norah and Lone Star Lovin. They are more great ones by Debbie Macomber. I am never disappointed by her books. I voluntarily chose to review these. I've given them both 5* ratings.

No Regrets
No Regrets - Nicky James

“I’m not going to watch you die. I’m going to help you live. You’ve made a list and I plan to use every day you are capable to help you fulfill all those things on it. We will tick off as many as we can. I want to love you, and hold your hand, and kiss you, and make love to you. When we can’t do those things anymore, then I just want to hold you in my arms until you have to say goodbye. Every minute you have left on this Earth, I will love you. Let me love you.”

Absolutely beautiful book about love and having no regrets.  Every moment is precious and worth it.

Plum Lovin' (Stephanie Plum, #12.5) by Janet Evanovich
Plum Lovin' - Janet Evanovich

The in between novellas in the Stephanie Plum series, aren’t exactly crucial reading, although it would have helped me to better understand Diesel’s character if I had read Visions of Sugar Plums (Stephanie Plum #8.5) first. I knew that he was a character from another series by Janet Evanovich, but I have yet to read any of those books.

It had been a while since I have read this series, so it was nice to revisit my favourite characters once again. Although a short story, it had the same humor I’ve come to enjoy. However I didn’t feel like the Diesel’s hint of paranormal powers fit into the Stephanie Plum world.

Still I would recommend Plum Lovin’ to fans of Janet Evanovich and the Stephanie Plum books.

Finders Keepers
Finders Keepers - N.R. Walker

I mean seriously. If looking at this cover does not make you smile with glee then move on…this book is not for you.  And grow a heart why don’t you.

From the moment I saw this cover I was in love.  And to see NR Walker’s name on the cover only solidified my desire to read this book.  Like all of Walker’s books, this one is full of heart.  I went in expecting a sweet loving story and that is exactly what I received.  This was simply wonderful.

Griffin and Dane

For me, pets and honestly kids in romances can, at times, be annoying.  They can pull you away from a moment, cock block that perfect scene or simply draw you away from the relationship that is being developed.  But this sweet dog did none of that.  If anything…he did the exact opposite.  Wicket was magnificent.  I loved this dog to pieces.  He was so much a part of this couple, their relationship and their story…a true secondary character all on his own.  I mean Wicket I swear had lines and full on adorable conversations with these men.  *melts*

This story just brought a smile to my face from start to finish. A story with no angst but still rich in depth and strongly developed characters.  And I would be remiss if I did not mention Bernice.  My heavens…this lady was everything. I adored her from her first moment on page.  The lines this woman had…her sass, he glassy eyed wit…I am grinning like a fool and I did not even eat a brownie.  ;)

So if you are in need of a perfect feel good read…look no further.  I mean seriously…if you have not bought it for the cover alone I am not sure what to say.
