This is the box set of the Over The Fence series. This is a collection of several books from the same series. Each book is actually a standalone novel. Works well if you read them in order. For review purposes I have chosen to focus on PITCHING TO WIN.
Minka has had one major hurt after another. The latest being the high school humiliation that everyone dreads. Only in her case it may be repeating itself.
Owen wants to have more with Minka. He is all she has chosen to avoid and more. His attraction to her brains, beauty, and sass is overwhelming and he cannot seem to stay away.
Such a great start to a very sexy series. This book jumps right in and the sparks are flying basically from the start. While the main characters are trying to not to get burned by the flame, we see them steer toward one another rather than away. I liked seeing them both grow stronger as they choose to be together. I give this read a 4/5 Kitty's Paws UP!

I received a copy from Netgalley.
This title appealed to me immediately as it came recommended for fans of “One of Us Is Lying” which I absolutely loved. However, this book failed to meet the high standard of that book. I thought this book was awful.
The premises was interesting enough. There was a party and someone died. The actions of a small group of people lead to the tragedy and someone saw what happened. Now, a year later those people are sent mysterious invitations to a murder mystery party with a big prize. No name of the person inviting them.
The party is a costume party and each character is given certain props. Challenges to solve that get more personal and more deadly as the night progresses. Secrets are at stake, lives are at stake and the risks become more and more over the top. Some of the group were friends, some aren’t and they all must come together to figure out what’s happening and survive the night. Should be interesting. Its high stakes and tense.
Problem for me was I absolutely hated all the characters. They were all horrible horrible people or bland people with about as much personality as cardboard. Also, very predictable. I knew almost immediately who the responsible person was. As the plot went on it became just ridiculous and unbelievable.
It was one of those – this is so stupid why am I finishing it books? – but I did read the whole thing. I just really did not like this book at all.
Thank you to Netgalley and Simon and Schuster UK Children’s for approving my request to view the title.

One year ago, there was a party.
At the party, someone died.
Five teens each played a part and up until now, no one has told the truth.
But tonight, the five survivors arrive at an isolated mansion in the hills, expecting to compete in a contest with a $50,000 grand prize. Of course…some things are too good to be true.
Now, they realize they’ve been lured together by a person bent on revenge, a person who will stop at nothing to uncover what actually happened on that deadly night, one year ago.
Five arrived, but not all can leave. Will the truth set them free?
Or will their lies destroy them all?
Review : this book was crazy so after an event a year ago they are all brought to this mansion to solve a fake murder but are they really . When they discover they were brought here under false information. Gavin was drugged . Parker is a creepy fucking stalker and a psychopath. He loves ruby but maybe to much Juniper thought she was protecting her friend . Ruby a year a go met a guy named Shane and parker didn't like him but Shane liked ruby a lot and a video was released of them having sex and everyone thought Shane did it but he didn't parker took it . He was the ringleader that brought them all to the mansion he was working with Shane sister who ended up dying at Ruby's hand . Brianna starts a fire parker dies he is the reason Shane is dead freaking psycho he is . We find out Ruby ended up killing her abusive father he was choking her but she hit him with a doll. Gavin , Juniper , Brett and ruby leave alive this book was very lyrical and I really loved it , it had twist and turns .
