Halter is my go to for feel good, butterfly inducing, quick fire romance. So I am not ashamed to say that A Kiss for Santa checked all my boxes. Anna is a little but her heart is in the right place. Peter has a hint of Scrooge guarded a heart far more sensitive than even he realizes. A cute twist on an old classic. LOVED, LOVED, LOVED IT.

I started this series quite a while ago and tossed it aside because I just couldn't get into it. This time I listened to it in audiobook format and loved it so much I listened to them in sequence. I enjoyed every moment of it. 

Though Mercy can shift her shape into that of a coyote, her loyalty never wavers. So when her former boss and mentor, Zee, asks for her help, she’s there for him. A series of murders has rocked a fae reservation, and Zee needs her unique gifts, namely her coyote sense of smell, to sniff out the killer. 
 
But when Zee is accused of murdering the suspect Mercy outed, he’s left to rot behind bars by his own kind. Now it’s up to Mercy to clear his name, whether he wants her to or not. 
 
Mercy’s loyalty is under pressure from other directions, too. Werewolves are not known for their patience, and if Mercy can’t decide between the two she cares for, Sam and Adam may make the choice for her...

This is book #2, in the Kiss And Make Up series.  This book can be read as a standalone novel.  For reader enjoyment, and to avoid spoilers, I recommend reading this series in order.

Cecelia & Matthew met under less than ideal circumstances.  Now, with the tension between them obvious to anyone nearby, Cecelia is basically outnumbered.  She just needs to lean to trust him and maybe there is something there.

Matthew has found Cecelia a hot woman since they met.  He has done everything to basically get her attention - both good and bad.  He wants a real future, so now he is giving it his all.

This was such a great addition to the series!  I loved and devoured each page.  Is a really great series with characters that are fun to read about.  Their stories are very humorous and heartfelt.  I give this book a 4/5 Kitty's Paws UP!
