Release Blitz and Giveaway for The Royal Mistake by Erin Hayes

The Royal Mistake: A Billionaire Prince Romance
Author: Erin Hayes
Genre: Billionaire Romance
Release Date: April 24, 2017

At twenty-five years old, Catherine's only commitment was to her job.

Until she saw those two pink lines.

Catherine has buckled down to focus on what was really important in life. Like her career. So when her ex-boss Jessica Croft offers her a job she can't refuse, Catherine moves to Dubreva, where she's thrust back into race car driver and billionaire prince Henry's life.

And Henry won't let her forget what happened between them one hot night. Even though she's been trying to forget it.

But then she learns she's pregnant. With Henry's child.

Whoops.

He has tattoos. Never in my life would I have imagined that one of the royal princes of Dubreva would have a wonderful sculpted chest with ink displaying a pattern of blacks and grays. As I peel his shirt off in the elevator of the Dubrevian palace, I can’t help but run my fingers over them. I love a tatted man. They look delicious. He looks delicious. And he’s all mine. Henry Spencer di’Vale of Dubreva. Cousin to the crown prince of Dubreva, and a billionaire playboy in his own right. I know this. And he knows that I know this. And neither of us care. After a long flight from New York to Dubreva, handling everything for Jessica Croft, my media mogul boss, and dealing with a very public party for a Formula One race, I need to let loose. It just happens to be with a really hot—and tattooed—prince in the elevator of the Dubrevian Palace. This is the stuff that romance novels are made of.

Her back is to the road, so I only get a glimpse of her profile as we drive by. Her curly dark hair that I could run my hands through. Her petite frame that I remember wrapped around me. Her luscious lips that I still fantasize about kissing.
She’s back in Dubreva.
She’s here.
And it could be my last chance to redeem myself to her.
“Stop the car!” I tell the driver.
“What?” he asks, confused.
“NOW!” I demand, opening the door.
The driver is forced to pull over to a non-parking area, half-blocking one of the lanes of traffic. I hear the angry honks of the cars behind us, but I don’t care as I undo my seatbelt and slide out. I use my cane to cover the distance as fast as possible, barely noticing the pain in my leg.
She sees me too, as the angry horns have caused her to look in my direction. Her eyes fall on me, and I see them widen in…fear? No, it can’t be fear. If anything, it should be anger. After all, I was the one who had insulted her that night.
I didn’t know what it was like to be humble.
My heart thrums in my throat as I stop ten meters away, unable to take my eyes off her.
“Hi, Catherine.”

Something more
Happily Ever Alpha: Falling for the Billionaire - Victoria Pinder,Jina Bacarr,Opal Carew,Eileen Cruz Coleman,Margo Bond Collins,Rossie Cortes,Tara Crescent,Michele de Winton,Blaire Edens,Nicole Garcia,Erin Hayes,Courtney Hunt,Mary Hughes,Sydney Logan,Alix Nichols,Tierney O'Malley,Peter Presley,Mandy

Happily Ever Alpha: Falling For The Billionaire is an anthology of 20 erotic stories about hot men, who have too much money.  This makes finding a wife even harder.  How do you know she is with you for you and not your bank account?

Because there were so many books inside, I chose Finding Mrs, Right by Debbie White to review.  What was the best part, is that Gabe is honestly trying to find "the one."  His friends fix him up, he meets many women and asks them out, and there are certainly complications.

It just is such a sincerely funny and sweet story.  I enjoyed seeing him try to find the best of the choices he meets.  Good read and honest picture of what trying to find someone can be like.  I give this story a 3/5 Kitty's Paws UP!

Audio Book Review: I'd Rather Be A Witch
I'd Rather be a Witch: The Witching Hour Collection (The Cotton Candy Quintet Book 2) - Erin Hayes

*I requested to review a copy of this audiobook for an honest review from the author or narrator.

Jordyn's sister calls, asking her to return home after her years gone. Her mother is dying from cancer. Jordyn doesn't hesitate, but does worry how returning home with affect Zach. Zach was her high school love and what she did to save him changed him. Things could go very wrong with her return to such close proximity of him...

Kristin brings the tender heart that fills Jordyn to the surface as she gives Jordayn voice. Kristin voices each character with a different timber and voice. She also does an echo for Jordyn's thoughts, which I love.

We have a mystery mixed with love! Jordyn returns home to help her family as her mother nears her last days. She wants to do anything to help her mother, but even as a witch there is only so much that can be done. The dark magick will not help but hurt in the end.

We get the current story but also the history of Jordyn and Zach when younger. The beautiful and terrible night. The second chapter tells their story and how things went so wrong with magick. This sets the stage and makes us weary of returning home with Jordyn. It just can't turn out well with what we learn... I'm worried with Jordyn.

Jordyn also faces the man she's loved from childhood. There is a deep and dark past between them. It's sort of sad to see it as Jordyn still loves him. But the surprise of the story is there is a possibility of a new love interest for Jordyn, if she'll let herself go and forgive what happened to Zach.

Ooooh. And the mystery! Jordyn returns home to suddenly find there was a double murder at Shady Point, the place where Zach and Jordyn's past turns dark. And she's the prime suspect. How is this possible? It is. Jordyn wants to help Zach as she thinks it could be him, but what she learns when she casts her spell draws new light to the story. Jordyn is determined to prove herself innocent and save her mother.

Jordyn has made mistakes, huge mistakes, that affect everyone. She wants to fix those while home visiting while her mom is ill with terminal cancer.

Wonderful shorter story. I was drawn to the characters and invested with them. In the end I had to work to stop the tears.

Audio Book Review: How to be a Mermaid
How to be a Mermaid - Erin Hayes

*This audiobook was provided by the author, narrator, or publisher at no cost in exchange for an unbiased review courtesy of AudiobookBlast dot com, at my request.

Tara's dream has come true, to be a mermaid. For a few hours a day she performs in a mermaid show at aquariums. While performing at the Houston Aquarium Tara spots Kai, a new dolphin kept in quarantine. Tara's drawn to the young calf as he won't eat or move. Then she hears him speak! Shocked, she returns that evening to check in on the sad dolphin to find a man climbing the fence. And he has a tale! Finn had come to rescue Kai from the prison, only to save the woman who fell and banged her head at the sight of him. Tara learns of a whole new world and impending danger for the unknowing humans.

I listened to this little gem. Claire's vocal feels as it started stiff, then she seemed to slip into character quickly after the start. Though the rise and fall of words and pauses at times felt to break up the flow, she soon smoothed out as well. I didn't notice much difference between characters voices, but I did notice Claire did higher pitches for children.

I enjoy stories like this. They feel sweet and innocent to me. In the sea with the wildlife I enjoy. This was a lovely mermaid read for me. Tara is an innocent and she is good inside. She only wants to help. Finn has been a bit jaded, but he can see there is a difference in people too. And Ponce. Oh Ponce is a cute little companion for Tara. Ponce did make me smile with his up beat personality.

Erin has done a fascinating job of blending a little bit of everything in one story. A girl with a dream, who then thinks on whether she really wants it or not. There is a focus for the story, there's a danger that could be due to actions of others. The characters have a purpose and something to strive for that would have great consequences if they fail. There is also a sweet blooming love here.

I love the ocean and this book brought that feeling back. It also made me feel, again, that we are not the only ones in the world and we don't own the world. There are creatures that deserve to be just as free as we are. It's not always the best idea to take anything or anyone from their home for our own amusement.

I even fought tearing up at the end. The decisions made, they are wise and yet hard. But I liked them in the end. The epilogue gives us a great feel of how things are and end.

How to be a Mermaid by Erin Hayes
(Falling in Deep Collection, #10)
Publication date: July 7th 2015
Genres: Fantasy, Young Adult

All Tara ever wanted was to be a mermaid.

So she takes a year off between high school and college to don a fake tail and tour aquariums across the country in a professional mermaid troupe.

Everything’s great until she meets a gorgeous real-life merman named Finn. Suddenly, what she thought was a dream turns out to be a nightmare — she’s turning into a mermaid herself. For real.

Yet when she returns to the sea to seek out Finn and reverse her transformation, she finds herself in the middle of an impending war between the land and sea. Tara may have always wanted to be a mermaid, but now it’s sink or swim. In order to survive, she has to learn how to be one, too.

Interview:

●What is your favorite mermaid story or myth?

I’ve always loved Disney’s The Little Mermaid, but when I read the original Hans Christian Andersen tale, I fell in love with it. It’s a dark, sad tale that still gives me chills. If you haven’t read it, you should pick it up and read it! You’ll never watch the animated movie the same way ever again.

●What was the inspiration for How to be a Mermaid?

I stumbled upon the Weeki Wachee mermaids, a professional mermaid troupe based out of Florida. I wondered what would happen if one of those mermaids ever met a real-life merman and the story flourished from there.

●Cast your characters.

If How to be a Mermaid was made into a movie, who would play your main characters?

Tara: Katie McGrath is a bit older than Tara in the book, but I think she’d be perfect. I’ve seen her in comedy and I’ve seen her act, and she looks the part too! She’s been in a few things, but I imagine we’re going to see a lot more of Katie McGrath in upcoming movies

Finn: Liam Hemsworth. Sighs. Imagine him with a mer tail and that’s him!

●What was most challenging thing writing about mermaids?

The most challenging part, actually, was trying to get a behind-the-scenes perspective of professional mermaids. I went to the Georgia Aquarium to see the Weeki Wachee mermaids in action and did a backstage tour to see how the aquarium worked. After that, I was able to incorporate what I saw into the story.

●Ursula or Ariel?

Ursula. Sea witches always have more fun.

●What else should we know about How to be a Mermaid?

Pay attention to the character Jordyn – her character is getting her own story coming up!
