This is the 6th book in the 7 Brides For 7 Blackthornes series.  This book can be read as a standalone novel.  Be aware this series is meant to be read in order and can be enjoyed by doing so.  Keep in mind there may be spoilers, should you read this prior to previous books.

Logan comes back to the fold, in order to give a vacation to an employee.  The family owns many ventures and he is being pushed to choose where he might be involved with just one.  What if he wants to run them all?

Piper has known Logan for a long time.  They grew up together and even had been friends some time back.  As they get to know each other again - they learn they have more in common than they first thought.  Also, that it is good to have an opposite to attract.

This story just had a steady pace and the heat between the characters built.  I truly think this is a terrific series, and this story was a great addition to it.  The characters seem meant for one another from the start, and as the story grew, I could not wait to see where their arc would take me.  I give this a 4/5 Kitty's Paws UP!

Ross is thrown back into the company business after an accident that almost ended in tragedy.  He is not happy to be there, until he meets his mentor.  She is fiery, sexy, and everything he never knew he needed.

Holly wants nothing to do with a playboy who couldn't remember he already met her!  It's a crime that he is even there in the first place.  Too much has already happened to her family, and she wants to make the most of her position, so she will teach the unteachable.

This story was a pleasant surprise and not at all what I thought I was going to get.  This series is already turning out to be great.  I love these characters with the heat that sizzles between them, as well as the banter that just makes me laugh out loud.  Overall a good pace and a terrific read.  I give this a 4/5 Kitty's Paws UP!

Hannah is madder than ever about what has happened to her Dad. She figures if she gets Devlin involved there may be a solution. Unfortunately, there is more to the story. On top of that, is her attraction she cannot deny for Devlin.

This story is more of a slow burn. There is a lot of action, and the pace is rather steady. These characters already know each other well but it is a lot of fun to see that grow into more. I cannot wait to see where this series will go.

I’ve read this author before so I knew that I liked her writing and was glad to see she didn’t disappoint. This was a pretty good story. I really enjoyed following Josie through her tale. I haven’t really read any books with this premise in a long time. It was a good change of pace. I highly recommend for anyone who likes this genre.
