This foursome romance is a passionate and emotionally gripping read that shares insights in the making of an unorthodox family that includes two vampires, a wolf shifter and a swan. The chemistry that flows between these characters sizzle with heat and passion and the relationship is full of some scorching hot intimacy of varying types of interaction. If readers are not into reading about kinky, bdsm scenes, then this book is not for them, but for others it is a steamy, emotional read with two heroines and two heroes that easily draw readers into their story and refuse to let go and by the end readers have really gotten to know these characters and what makes them tick.

The plot is steady paced and covers a full year of suspenseful and emotionally turbulent day to day events that would take place in the making of this kind of family including supernatural politics that have to be considered. The story also some suspenseful and exciting events as readers get the highlights from the supernatural war from this foursome’s point of view. Readers definitely find that once they begin…they definitely don’t want to put this book down until they have read every last page.

Jayce is an ancient vampire who’s taking it easy while he lives under this identity. He was a famous physicist in the roaring twenties, but he’s currently a bartender, where everyone knows him as Ace. Abbott assigns the super-genius to teach Polly about this world she’s awakened to — with cars, airplanes, indoor plumbing, and smartphones with a camera in every human’s hand.

Cole is a bear shifter, and is Jayce’s partner. Lover. Whatever. Cole is a physics professor and doesn’t have time for silly labels — nor is he thrilled with the prospect of having a seven hundred year old former Queen of England living in their home. If she thinks he’s bowing to her, she’ll be sorely disappointed.

Sergei was abducted from foster care by an evil vampire as a child, and turned into a werewolf. Abbott rescued him when he took over Maryland, and he’s living with Jayce and Cole, employed as their house manager, but he wants to be so much more to them.

This scorching hot and emotionally gripping holiday romance captures hearts and makes readers wish for three sexy partners to be put in their Christmas stockings. All the characters are strong, captivating and draw readers to them with their vulnerabilities, personalities and intense passion. The relationship between this foursome is complicated and slowly develops over time as they Jayce and Cole open their hearts and their relationship to Sergei and Polly and accepting them as part of their family. The passion is abundant throughout the story and the intimate scenes range from hot to scorching and include – mm, mmm, and mmmf scenes. The story also gives readers the emotional perspective of all four characters throughout which ensures that readers fall in love with them all.

The story is fast paced and has an unexpected seamless flow which makes it easy for readers to become completely caught up in the story. The author does a great job of integrating the various perspectives, present lives and future hopes into this story so that while Polly is learning how to adapt to this time period, it doesn’t interrupt the flow of the story or how the present progresses. Also, the Abbott holds the foursomes happiness in his hands and the characters are uncertain of building a relationship that could be broken apart which adds an intriguing bit of suspense that further enhances this heartwarming holiday romance.

It’s Halloween night and the Haunted Corn Maze is a madhouse. However, no one knows one of the zombies in the diorama is a dead body. There’s a reason it looks so real.

Her people obviously respect her, and he finds he doesn’t want to leave her side when she’s ready to turn him loose.

This paranormal murder mystery romance takes place around Halloween which enhances the atmosphere to the mystery as the strong, bold characters discover a body while out celebrating with friends. The mystery augments the story with thrilling suspense and keeps reader guessing ‘who done it?’ right along with Ronni and Josef in this fast paced and thrilling story. And readers get the thrill of trying to discover clues and find evidence right alongside the characters as the author paints such vivid imagery which makes it easy for readers to imagine each and every scene. The plots is fast paced and flows smoothly throughout the story with lots of electrical chemistry flowing between Ronni and Josef which adds lots of hot and spicy romance to the story. The romance is the story starts with each of the characters being intrigued with each other and they kind of negotiate their way into a relationship which builds the suspense of the romance. Once again, the Chattanooga Supernaturals provide a rip roaring romance that keeps readers entertained from beginning to end, which is kind of fitting since it’s about a vampire and a tiger shifter. The story can be read alone without reading the other books in the series and it is a bit different being it is a murder mystery romance but it is still part of the fascinating world full of wonderful characters that reader can’t get enough of.

Vic and Sandy are strong characters with super chemistry and they heat up each and every page with some super sexy and blazing hot love scenes, the story is also further heated up with some other sex scenes as well, so in case you haven’t figured it out yet, the story is definitely erotic. As usual, Candace Blevins really knows how to bring her stories to vivid life with lots of informative and descriptive scenes without making anything seem vulgar or in bad taste so if it’s not the reader’s kink they still enjoy reading the book, also if reader’s don’t really have an understanding of the erotic world, then Candace’s books explain things to the readers while they get to enjoy some really great reads. Vic and Sandy both have secrets to divulge before they can even think about a romance which adds a bit of intrigue to their romance as they work toward their happily ever after.

I really couldn’t put this story down once I started reading it and I love how Candace introduces new and unique elements to her stories and not just in the erotic area of the stories as with this one… Peacock shifters, I never thought of that one and I’ve got tell you I like it. If fact the only downside to this story that I have is that it was over too soon, but I console myself with the fact that I can visit the Kirsten O’Shea universe anytime I like and of course that Candace will soon be releasing another one.
