I got pregnant on New Year’s Eve.

That night was hands down the best night of my life. A magical night with the man of my dreams.
The aftermath changed everything.
After weeks of silence from him and a positive pregnancy test, it was safe to say I was in full out panic mode.
Until I walked into a conference room only to find Mr. Man-of-my-dreams-father-of-my-unborn-child at the head of the table.
Turns out the VP of finance isn’t an old boring guy with white hair.
Two different cities.
A baby on the way.
An intense attraction.
And he’s technically my boss.
Life just got even more complicated.

That NightThat Night by K.I. Lynn
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Natasha never takes risks. She arrives at a major party with her best friend and meets the man of her dreams after he spills a drink on her. To ignore the sparks igniting would be crazy.

Richard did not mean to spill a drink. He wouldn't change a thing, since he met the woman he never thought he would. The "One." Now he just has to convince her to let him be a part of her life.

Such a sweet and yet sexy book. These characters know what they want from page one and it is hot hot hot! The lessons to learn here are how to move on from the crazy night. I love the sincerity and friendships this story holds. I also liked the determination. What really rich characters. I could not put it down.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR

K.I. Lynn is the USA Today Bestselling Author from The Bend Anthology and the Amazon Bestselling Series, Breach. She spent her life in the arts, everything from music to painting and ceramics, then to writing. Characters have always run around in her head, acting out their stories, but it wasn’t until later in life she would put them to pen. It would turn out to be the one thing she was really passionate about.

Since she began posting stories online, she’s garnered acclaim for her diverse stories and hard hitting writing style. Two stories and characters are never the same, her brain moving through different ideas faster than she can write them down as it also plots its quest for world domination…or cheese. Whichever is easier to obtain… Usually it’s cheese.

I Am My Beloved's
Claim Your Crown: Walking in Confidence and Worth As a Daughter of the King - Saint-Elien, Tarah-Lynn

“As a King’s kid, you have the audacity to claim your inheritance and all God has promised to you. When you choose to belong to Christ, you become an heiress (Rom. 8:17) and receive all the promises reserved for Abraham’s descendants (Gal. 3:29).”

Plainspoken and pragmatic, Tarah-Lynn Saint-Elien sets forth an emboldening and encouraging manifesto of sorts with her new book, “Claim Your Crown.” As she explains in the introduction, “Claim Your Crown thwarts the media’s misconceptions about beauty and womanhood while teaching God’s original intent. It delves into the recurrent insecurities, fears, doubts, and guilt young women face daily.” With a non-nonsense, conversational tone, she speaks directly to all of the young women who, in today’s society, face more pressure and challenges to their self-worth than ever before. So, what makes this book different from the scads of other self-help manuals out there? Faith in God. That’s where it all begins, and until we understand that, we will continue to stumble around blindly.

As Revelation 17:14 tell us, Jesus is King of kings and Lord of lords, and Jesus and the Father are one. Therefore, as Tarah-Lynn states, “You, queen, are automatically deemed royalty as a child of God. You are born with royal blood.” Every one of God’s daughters is a princess, with royalty conferred on us from the moment of our conception. Feeling less than anyone else is a lie from the enemy because we are royalty. Instead of focusing on what the world tries to tell us, we need to listen to the voice of our Father, the King, and suit up each day with God’s armor as we fulfill His purposes for us and speak life over those around us.

Written for and addressing a young adult audience, Tarah-Lynn’s voice is very conversational and informal, addressing the reader directly. Because I am older than the target audience, this felt awkward to me at first, but it definitely presents a powerful narrative and would no doubt be perfect for those in their teens and twenties. Each chapter is titled, which I personally always find helpful in reinforcing the content, and ends with Kingdom Keys, which consists of a short summary of that chapter’s main points, and also a few Reflection questions to engage readers. This is a fun, inspirational book about serious topics, highlighting our regal status as God’s beloved daughters, and I highly recommend it for all young women, and even for those who are older but still need a reminder that they are preciously counted as princesses and queens in God’s sight.

I received a complimentary copy of this book from Revell and was under no obligation to post a positive review. All opinions are my own.

Maybe Swearing Will Help (SWAT Generation 2.0 #3) by: Lani Lynn Vale
Maybe Swearing Will Help (SWAT Generation 2.0 #3) - Lani Lynn Vale

From heartstopping to heartwarming, Lani Lynn Vale definitely makes her presence known. At first glimpse, she entices with humor and then tempts the senses with so much more. Maybe Swearing will Help is endearingly, alluring. Ford and Ashe sneak up on your emotional blindside to wreak havoc on your heart. A story like this one is easy to love. The hard part is saying goodbye when the end has come and gone.

Crazy Heifer (The Valentine Boys Book 2) Kindle Edition - Lani Lynn Vale

I fell in love with this story right from the very beginning !Callum was like a knight and shinning armor glad in blue jeans and sunglasses and looking sexy as sin.

I really loved each and every character with the exception of Marjorie and Mal those Valentine Boys all just melted my heart each and everyone of them and we loved how protective they became of Desi in such a short amount of time. They were as so cute that

"I was in awe of them."

Desi was just one of those characters so easy to love because no matter how much crap her ex husband dished out he never was able to break her spirit of that kind and loving women she was.

Callum and Desi had buckets of chemistry and they were simply amazing together. Callum was a smart man to see what was right and front of him and was determined to hold on tight knowing that women would change his life forever as well as his families.

This story was just one of those romance stories that touches one heart it was so sweet and touching. The ending of this story could not have been more perfect for this couple.

"We loved it !"
