great story, great characters
69 Million Things I Hate About You - Kira Archer

Kiersten and her besties- Izzy and Cassie- are roommates and all work in the same office- Harrington Enterprises- the biggest think tank and development firm in Manhattan. Marie was first assistant to Cole Harrington who was the founder of the company.  Kiersten was second assistant and Marie passed off a lot of the work to Kiersten. Marie and Kiersten were going to Cole’s office. When they got their Cole  only had on a loose pair of sweatpants and was on his treadmill working out.  Marie told Cole through the door as he had just showered that she would be out of touch this weekend but Kiersten would be on call to him. Cole told marie to cancel whatever she had going on and marie said she couldn’t it was her wedding. Then Marie quit as she had given Cole plenty of advance notice of her wedding. Then Cole told Kiersten that she had been promoted and he hope she ;lasted longer than his last three assistants.  Working with Marie had been great training. Koersten had been pretty much running Cole’s life anyway. Only now kiersten had to deal with Cole herself.  Kiersten could finally show what she was made of and get credit for the work she was already doing.  Not to mention as nice raise her bank account would gladly receive.  Then Cole gave her the phone Marie had left and told Kiersten to keep the phone on her at all times as he kept odd hours. Consider herself on call.. Cole also told her to get a hold of HR and to send over the paperwork for her new position and to make sure she was up to date on all his pending contracts and current projects.  Cole wanted no problems just because he had a different first assistant. If she needed help for passwords or anything to get into the computer get ahold of IT and to get everything changed. Then go to security to get a new badge as she would need an upgrade. She would also need to be at his apartment for voice recognition and fingerprint software to be upgraded by Cole’s security. Then Kiersten was informed she had to go to the conference that weekend that he was speaking at. Brook was Cole’s best friend and business partner. Cole told Brook he didn’t date as he didn't have time then Brook told Cole to make time maybe that would loosen Cole up.  Cole always had a woman when he needed or wanted one as yet he hadn’t found a woman that made him want to change and have a relationship with her. Cole had a very strict mock prenup written up and after he had made his first hundred million a woman had been more interested in money then matrimony. It had broke Cole’s heart but also took several millions to keep her from writing a tell-all book and selling it to the highest bidder. Now the women Cole seen signed a non-disclosure agreements. It had been six months and Kiersten had been nothing but strictly professional. The more prim and proper Kiersten behaved the more tempted Cole was to break his anti-office romance rule. Kiersten and her friends Izzy and cassie played the lottery every week then a miracle happened and the girls won big time. Kiersten realized she didn’t have to be at Cole’s beck and call anymore. She didn’t have to work for Cole or anyone else. Izzy and Cassie were going to quit their jobs as well as Kiersten as they never had to work again. Kiersten then decided she wanted to make Cole fire her instead of her quitting.  After Cole caught on he was determined to make Kiersten quit.

Great, easy, fun and extremely enjoyable romance. I loved this book as well as the plot and pace. It was a quick read but a whole story. I loved Brooks and Cole’s relationship as well as Izzy, Cassie’s and Kiersten's relationships. I couldn’t find anything I didn’t love about this book and that is always great. I loved Cole and Kiersten together. I loved the characters and the ins and outs of this book and I highly recommend.

Venture capitalist Cameron Price is a workaholic and great at his job, but his boss is convinced Cam needs a more balanced life. A wife on his arm would prove Cam’s the right man to take over the company. When a gorgeous caterer cooks up the perfect event and catches Cam’s eye, he proposes an innovative arrangement they’ll both benefit from. Lauren Brody knows Cam’s plan is crazy, but pretending to be his fiancée will allow her access to networking at events she’d never get into otherwise. It could be just the break she needs to get her catering business on the map and book the kind of clients she’s always dreamed of cooking for. If she can convince Mr. Buttoned Up Tight to have some unscheduled fun along the way, theirs could be a perfect arrangement.

NFL football player Isaiah Blackwell lost his husband three years ago and is raising their teen son alone. He lives his life as quietly as his job allows, playing ball to support his family but trying not to draw unwanted attention. His quiet life is shaken up when a mutual friend introduces him to Victor, a visiting principal ballet dancer who is everything Isaiah is not. Brash, loud, and gender fluid Victor Aleksandrov has applied for political asylum to avoid returning to Russia, where gay men are targeted and persecuted. He’s been outspoken about gay rights in his home country, and if he doesn’t get asylum, going back to Russia is a death sentence. Their one-night stand turns into a tentative friendship, a relationship they both agree is temporary…until Victor’s denied asylum. Isaiah can’t offer Victor a happily ever after, but he can propose something that’ll keep Victor in the US and safe. . .marriage He just doesn’t expect his new husband to dance away with his heart.

Kassidy Thomas decided to stop hiding behind her past, and start living, but she didn’t quite bet on that start including her singing a horrible song in front of the handsomest bachelor in the NFL, Wyatt Hamilton. She also doesn’t think he’d then consequently ask her out on a date, but turns out when you’re actually living life…crazy things happen. He needs to win… Wyatt Hamilton is a player in every sense of the word. Married to the game, he has no interest in relationships, love, or even second nights with the same woman. But from the second the girl-next-door beauty Kassidy knocks on his door to deliver a singing telegram, nothing goes as planned. He can’t stop thinking about her, and keeps showing up on her doorstep for more. That is, until the unthinkable happens… And all bets are off.

His Convenient Husband (Love and Sports, #1)His Convenient Husband by Robin Covington
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

Isaiah & Victor have a flash of sexy in their past that may come back to bite them. Isaiah is offering to help Victor stay here in America. To go home for him would be death. Isaiah struggles with this, since he is very attracted to Victor and has a hard time staying hands off.

Victor is starting to have real feelings for Isaiah. He finds the many parts of his personality very attractive and knows he is falling for him. How do you find love when the person you care for has no interest in falling?

This book was really sexy. I loved the interaction with the characters. The pages sizzle with electricity from the main characters chemistry. I love that the backstories of both are varied, diverse, and very real and easy to understand. Really good read.

Up Chit Creek (Kira Callahan Mystery) (V... Up Chit Creek (Kira Callahan Mystery) (Volume 1) - Catherine Astolfo

Up Chit Creek Series: Kira Callahan Mystery By Catherine Astolfo
Kira works at the retirement center where most everybody has a memory issue and are old.
She finds a dead man with a woman sitting nearby, knife sticking out of the man's back.
Her older sister owns and run the center. Sheriff and deputies come out but it's hard to question those who don't respond due to their illnesses.
Love hearing about the rooms available in the mansion for the residents to use. Liked learning about others past and the history of the town.
It's a bit confusing to keep track of them all.
Kira is involved in finding clues, by listening or asking questions of others...
She confides in George, her boyfriend and he has more suggestions as more pass away...
Adult sex scenes. Loved the Leonard Cohen lyrics, priceless! Author bio at the end along with other works.

"69 Million Things I Hate About You" (Winning the Billionaire #1)  by Kira Archer

My Thoughts...

When I first started reading this novel I was wondering would I like it this particular read.  Well, I dd finding it a sweet humorous read that will keep your attention till the very end.  I tell you that Kiersten Abbott really puts it on Cole Harrington  and in the end how it all comes together being quite a nice fun enjoyable read. Truly winning that lottery ticket with her friends started it all!  I did find it somewhat predictable in spots but it was still a good read with some of the funniest scenes...one of them being [Kiersten and Cole's mother] that will have you laughing out loud!

Thanks to NetGalley and Entangled Publishing for the ARC in return for my honest review.
