Cole has been best friends with T.J. for a long time.  As he comes into adulthood, he learns he is an Omega.  He has good friends who want to help, he just has to let them in.

Ari & T.J. have finished high school with Cole.  They all have plans to go in different directions.  Is it time to talk about the attraction they have for one another?

This short jaunt into high heat starts out very quickly.  These characters feel very real and I loved how honest they were about their feelings.  Not just your typical shapeshifter novel, this one explores a whole new look at a love triangle.  I give this story a 3/5 Kitty's Paws UP!

Abigail Grant had a plan to keep her sister from suffering the same fate as her which would have worked until she plucked from the life she wanted to escape into circumstances that may be dangerous or that may be her salvation in this rockin’ paranormal romance. You know the author does a great job, when the characters come to life and the readers become so caught up in their lives that they just wants to reach over and knock some sense into the characters’ heads, which is exactly what happened (several times) as I read Luke and Abby’s story along with causing a few chuckles and I can’t wait to read the next one.

Read this because it worked for a challenge and it's alpha/omega dynamics aka my shit.

Being as it was free, I wasn't expecting much.

Well it was better than I expected! There was a plot (though it could have been longer to do it justice). It rushed in spots but the main elements: boy gets turned into a werewolf and needs a mate was decent. The reader is dumped into a bloody chase from a recently changed omega, Ethan. Ethan finds sanctuary in the form of an alpha named Josh.

In this world there are only two types of werewolves: alphas (big, fighter types) and omegas (types who like to bone, be bred and have whelps)

My problem is how easy Ethan takes to being changed into a werewolf, an omega werewolf at that. Josh wasn't an alpha-hole alpha, the story didn't jump into deep dicking on the first page.

There was a waiting period. And when the sex finally happened - fuckhot! Score for omega slick and alpha KNOTTING.

I have accrued a truckload of this author's free works, so I'm going to search for more shorties! Good in between read. 3-3.5 stars
