The Princess, the Prick & the Priest (Confessions #4) - Ella Frank

This is book #4, in the Confessions series.  This book can be read as a standalone novel.  To avoid spoilers, and fully understand the series, I recommend reading this series in order.

This story checks in to our threesome and where they are in their relationship the summer after they got together.  With Robbie's birthday coming up, he is getting major phone calls from his Mom, wanting him to come home for a visit.  He is nervous to bring his boyfriends home and the reception they will receive.

Julien and Priest want to meet Robbie's family.  They are just waiting for him to be ready.  With his birthday being the motivation - the plan is set in motion.  Can they show him they are ready for forever too?

This feels like a final installment or summary, if you will, of where the men are now.  Together, as they should be.  I was thrilled to jump back in to our favorite group and see some familiar faces!  This was a great read and a good book.  I give this a 5/5 Kitty's Paws UP!

Too Much Salt and Pepper (Living Forest #2)
Too Much Salt and Pepper: Two Porcupines with Prickly Spines Who Make You Laugh and Think - Sam Campbell

If one porcupine made for a good book then Sam Campbell thought that two would be even better.  In the second book of his Living Forest series, Too Much Salt and Pepper, Campbell describes the adventures and lessons surrounding the titular “porkies” Salt and Pepper along with wise ol’ Inky during a year at the Sanctuary of Wegimind.

The events of this book take place a few years after How’s Inky? as Sam and his wife Giny arrive at their animal sanctuary to discover the young porcupines Salt and Pepper eagerly awaiting them.  The two “porkies” are friendly, funny, and very mischievous especially when they want to play.  But as the year progresses, Pepper answers the call of the wild while Salt continued to want human companionship.  Most the book centers around the week-long visit of Carol, a young friend of the Campbells, who wants to experience the nature they describe in their lectures.  The experiences, stories, and lessons that Sam and Giny show Carol—along with a dose of porcupine mischievousness—as best they can in a week the lessons nature has taught them over the years.

With this book being twice as long as the previous Living Forest book, Sam Campbell fills it numerous stories of past adventures and misadventures while also detailing Carol’s weeklong stay during which occurs most of his famous philosophy.  Campbell uses an older Inky to be the mouthpiece of his lessons and teachings to the intended younger audience of the book, yet Inky’s “woodsy philosophy” can be very instructive to adults as well while not being preachy.

Though a longer read, Too Much Salt and Pepper is wonderful nature read and I highly recommend it readers of all ages.

Weathered Love (The Prick Series Book 2)
Weathered Love (The Prick Series Book 2)... Weathered Love (The Prick Series Book 2) - Tracie Redmond ***** April's Review ***** 5 Dreams and Screams
This is book two in the Prick Series. It's recommended that you read book one, Guided Love first.

Life doesn’t come with a weather forecast. There isn’t a report to tell you when a storm is coming. When the dark clouds roll in, you are lost to the depths of your own making.

Camaron Willis only had one person he could count on. One person who could always lift him up. After almost destroying their friendship he has to sit back and watch her marry someone else.

His world is consumed with darkness as the storm clouds wage on in his life. The only escape he can find is at the bottom of a bottle. He works, he drinks, and he sleeps with any woman who is willing to spread her legs. He doesn’t even realize the darkness has consumed him, until he finally catches a break in the clouds and finds a glimpse of light shining through
In Weathered Love, Camaron is suffering after the things he did to Samantha. He knows what he did was wrong and he fears that he has lost the only friend that he has ever known who he truly was. The friend who understands him and loved him regardless of his actions. He drinks, he sleeps with many questionable people, and he spirals deeper into that darkness.

Then enters Jessica. Jessica is a naïve, compassionate, adorable and most of all she is the most selfless person I've ever read about. She's struggled through something that is devastating and now she pretty much tries to live her life as best as she can, but she has held herself back for so long. Samantha asks her to come for the wedding so she meets the crew! (By the way, the friendship between the women in this story is so amazing. Carrie, Sam, Gabby, and Jessica are hilarious and fun! I laughed out loud and felt tears in my eyes many times because this group is so fantastic and close
Weathered Love picks up where Guided Love ends. After reading the first one, I thought that I would never forgive Camaron for what he did to his best friend Sam but boy was I wrong. Not only did I forgive him, I fell for him hard. If there is anyone person that I would pick for Camaron it would be Jessica. The chemistry is amazing. It’s like fate wanted them to be together. Weathered Love will make you laugh and it will make you cry. There is a scene in Weathered Love that was majorly HOT! If you want to know then you need to read Weathered Love. You will not want to put it down. It is beautifully written and will leave you wanting more.

Release Launch - MONSTER PRICK

Over my dead body.

That's what I told Gracie when she informed me of her plan to pick some random guy she met online to get rid of her pesky virginity.

If anyone is touching her, it's going to be me.

I shouldn't even be considering it, but I can't get it out of my head: her, under me, begging me.

***
Arrogant. Cocky. Prick.

Those are the words I’d use to describe my older brother’s dangerously handsome best friend.

When he learned of my plan to kick off my white cotton briefs, ditching my good girl persona once and for all by losing my virginity to the first eligible bachelor I could find, he flipped out. Said over his dead body.

He says if anyone’s going to do it, it’s going to be him.

I hate that I’m even considering his offer.

But I am … I sooo am.

Ever since he suggested it, all I can think about is his cocky smile on those full lips as he’s driving in to me.

But if we cross that line … will I ever be able to go back?

MONSTER PRICK, a sexy romantic comedy, is a spin off novella from SCREWED, but can be read as a standalone, as it features a new couple.

“What if I could help you?”

I have no idea what the hell I was thinking. The words just leaped out of my mouth. Listening to Gracie talk about kicking off her granny panties and popping her cherry with some random Internet dick...I guess it drove me temporarily insane.

But there's no taking back the idea now. Gracie sucks in her breath, blinking wide-eyed. “What do you mean?” she asks.

What do I mean? Here I am, sitting next to the world's most beautiful girl—drowning in her eyes, her scent, the gentle puff of her breath on my mouth that begs me to close the distance. I know what I want, but I also know what will happen if I take it. My best friend will rip off my balls and feed them to me. And I'll probably deserve every second.

But sweet Jesus, I'm pretty sure Gracie wants this, too, and that's enough to blow my better judgment to pieces. All I care about right now is making her feel better. In as many ways as possible. And if her slightly quickened breathing, blown pupils, and flushed cheeks are anything to go by...

As an experiment, I dart out the tip of my tongue to wet my lips. Her darkened eyes drop like a magnet yanked them. Yeah, bingo. Having a little black book as thick as the dictionary has its advantages. I know damn well how to tell when a woman wants me.
