good story and characters
The Wedding Date Bargain - Mira Lyn Kelly

Max wanted to punch his best friend Sean in the face but the church was not the place to do it. Normally all the bull Sean spewed to the press and females didn’t bother Max.  Max was a cop and his partner  C J was getting married. Max was a follow the rules kind of guy but Sean had brought the one person that Max has problems following the rules around - Sarah Cole. One week ago Sarah had almost slept with Max  now she was here with Sean who Max didn’t know was Sarah’s boss. Max loved Sean like a brother but no girl he cared about was getting in with Sean.  Maax has the reputation of being a player but he was getting tired of different women all the time. Sarah hadn’t really dated anyone in eleven months and that had been a flop and he was a butt of major proportions Sarah thrived on the challenges of her career. The last person Sarah had involved with was Corey who was a butt and and she had been engaged to that was four years ago. Eight years ago Sarah and Max had become unexpected friends. Sarah had thought about Max a lot and wished she had made a different choice. Sarah’s smile had hit Max like a freight train all those years ago and he worked to get that smile as often as he could. Sarah had also loved Max’s smile. Piper was Sarah’s best friend and they had known each other since first grade. Sarah had a mission to get rid of her virginity. Max used to walk Sarah home after the library closed. But eventually Max let Sarah go because there was things Sarah wanted that she would not have been able to have with Max. But here Sarah was again and he wasn’t going to let her go as quickly this time. But Sarah knew Max wouldn’t be helping her out with her mission as he had the chance eight years ago and turned her down.

This was a good read. I loved how Max was very protective of Sarah even if it was even if it was the best thing for her. I loved Sarah and Max together they were just right. I didn’t want to put this down once I started it. I loved Sarah and Piper’s friendship. I liked the closeness of Max and his fellow cops. I

liked the plot a lot. This drag at times for me. I loved the characters and the ins and outs of this story and I recommend.

Billionaire's Bargain
Billionaire's Bargain - Ella Finch Billionaire's Bargain is my first attempt at reading an Ella Finch novel and I have to say it was an impressive experience. Serena and Jake effectively seduced me with their first account narratives, while showing the chinks in their armor along the way. Overachiever Serena is used to success, but at what cost to her self - esteem? Jake is a walking contradiction. He makes an impression with muscle bound good looks and an overpowering alpha personality, but struggles with father - son issues. Jake and Serena have a tendency of making the wrong choices for the right reasons. He wants to be her savior. She longs to be his everything. Will they find success in making their secret dreams come true?

The Wedding Date Bargain
The Wedding Date Bargain - Mira Lyn Kelly Whenever I read a Mira Lyn Kelly novel, I'm reminded of a greeting card. With a few choice words and in a matter of minutes, each knows how to leave their mark. The Wedding Date Bargain uses Ms. Kelly's quick witted sense of humor to charm readers as she spins a tale of romance and awkward situations to warm even the coldest of hearts. Sarah is a bit neurotic. Max, a tad clueless. Yet underneath all the crazy you find a story of devotion that leaves readers with a good feeling from beginning to end.

Good Story and Characters
The Bad Boy Bargain - Kendra C Highley

Kyle was rumored to be a troublemaker, thief and girl magnate especially older ones in college when he was a senior in HS and played baseball.  Cade was Kyle’s good friend and wanted kyle to go to a party that cade was going to. Kyle was also dyslexic though few knew. Faith dated one of the most popular guys at school- Cameron but Faith wasn’t sure she really wanted to be with Cameron anymore. Also rehearsals for Oklahoma started in two weeks and Cameron wanted all Faith’s time. Cameron was not happy when Faith got the lead female part. Cameron and Faith had been dating for six months but Cameron was not happy faith would not sleep with him. Violet was Faith’s best friend. Kyle had a love for gardening but also kept that hidden but Kyle made money even though  his family was well to do but believed he should work for the things he wanted and he did. Faith and Cameron went to the party Cade had asked Kyle to go to. Cameron had asked Faith what wa sup then took off on her , then Faith caught Cameron in bed naked with Holly. Faith then broke it off with Cameron Kyle had only been three when his grandma and mom died in a car accident so he really didn’t know much about females. Kyle lived with his dad and grandpa. Faith finds out Cameron is trashing her and said he dumped her because she was an ice queen. Faith decides she needs to be with Kyle with his bad boy womanizer image. Then Faith finds out Kyle is working on their lawn in the back yard to redo it for an important luncheon. Also Cameron’s lies would be questioned if Faith turned up with Kyle. Kyle agrees to Faith’s idea as it was Cameron and his friends who made life hell for Kyle in middle school.

This was a good read and i did enjoy it. It was predictable but that didn’t take away from the story at all as there were a lot of little twists in the story. I liked how Faith seemed to sense the rumors about Kyle just weren’t true and that wasn’t who Kyle really was. I also liked how Kyle showed Faith who he really was. Kyle didn’t want Faith hurt by the lies that he had told. Yet when Cade came to him and told him faith needed him he went to her. I liked the plot and liked the characters a lot. I liked the ins and out of this story and I recommend.

A Bride in the Bargain by Deeanne Gist 99 cents
A Bride in the Bargain by Deeanne Gist(January 1, 2009) Hardcover - Deeanne Gist

In 1860s Seattle, a man with a wife could secure himself 640 acres of timberland. But because of his wife's untimely death, Joe Denton finds himself about to lose half of his claim. Still in mourning, his best solution is to buy one of those Mercer girls arriving from the East. A woman he'll marry in name but keep around mostly as a cook.

Anna Ivey's journey west with Asa Mercer's girls is an escape from the griefs of her past. She's not supposed to be a bride, though, just a cook for the girls. But when they land, she's handed to Joe Denton and the two find themselves in a knotty situation. She refuses to wed him and he's about to lose his land. With only a few months left, can Joe convince this provoking--but beguiling--easterner to be his bride?
