REVIEW
This is a set compiled of several very sexy although short stories. Very entertaining. I am leaving a review for 6 of the 7.

Carved in Ink by Marissa Farrar
I absolutely loved this story. We get a young woman who inherits a tattoo shop from her late aunt. Only one problem Theresa must move to London.
Art is the tenant, and he is hiding a bit about things from his new landlord. One night almost ruins things for this couple. Fantastic, hot, sexy short read. I hope there is more to this one.

Fast Lust By Lucy Felthouse
New to me author:
Gloria is a reporter but not an exciting one until her boss has no choice but to send her into the lion's den so to speak. Her job is to interview a biker. Now how to do that?
She wants the underdog and thinks she has found it with Rafe or has she? Another really sexy read.

Heavy Metal Lust by Victoria Blisse
New to me author:
This story is hot! We get a younger man with an older woman. He is a rocker, and she is a single mom. Very sexy read indeed.

Innocent Lies by Lexie Bay
New to me author:
This story is not only sexy and hot it's suspenseful and a bit dark.
Raine is the daughter of a mobster who after losing his wife has become evil. Her brother Archie is no help and when daddy dearest passes her brother becomes just like dear old dad.
Enter Tommy, another mobster but one with a heart? This story is one heck of a good read.

In Training by K D Grace
New to me author:
Lauren is one heck of a PR person, so she is thrown big time when her boss puts her smack dab into a reality tv show. Wolf is a trainer and actor with a successful business.
He is all on board for this reality show until the woman he is to be training is someone he wants more than to train.
Sexy, and Hot!

The Gamesman by Tabitha Rayne
A Scottish Gamer and a Journalist what more could you want? Although Harriett wants Archie, he isn't feeling her the same way. This was one scorching short read.

not one for me.
Window Dressing - Lucy Felthouse

Independent reviewer for Archaeolibrarian, I was gifted my copy of this book.

I can't word the official blurb any better (thats not to say I think my blurbs ARE better, I just can't word it any differently!) than the official one, so not doing one here.

SHORT!!! Too short to be a book, I'm afraid, more an extended chapter or two.

Only Jessie has her say, and I didn't much like Jessie. I understand Edith, somewhat, even though she didn't have her say, but I didn't like her much either. They do seem to suit each other though.

I WOULD like to read a longer more in depth book by this author. Just to see what she does with more pages.

So, I'm sorry, but a short review for a short book. 47 pages. Previously published in an anthology. And this is becoming a trend I don't much care for. Publish a perfectly good short story in the anthology, and then, again, on its own. In the anthology, I probably would have loved it. But here?? It was kinda meh. BUT I did finish it so....

3 stars

REVIEW BY MERISSA - Brothers in Arms Anthology by Megan Slayer, Helena Maeve, Anna Lee, Lucy Felthouse & Thom Collins
Brothers in Arms - Megan Slayer,Helena Maeve,Anna Lee,Lucy Felthouse,Thom Collins
Brothers in Arms Anthology has a military streak running through it, to no ones' surprise! Most of them are in a contemporary setting, but one has a distinctive Science Fiction feel to it. They aren't just M/M either, there are Ménage Moments too.

All of the stories are very well written, considering the scope of a short story. I would love to see some of them expanded into full-length stories! Some of these authors were already known to me, but some were new and I will definitely be reading more.

I enjoyed all the stories, but if I had to pick a favourite, it would be either One Night With You or Would You Wait For Me? Definitely recommended by me.

The Persecution of the Wolves by Lucy Felthouse
The Persecution of the Wolves - Lucy Felthouse
The Persecution of Wolves is set in the small village of Eyam, Derbyshire, which is a place I visited many moons ago on a school trip. I was very interested to read this story, and to see how the factual history would be incorporated into a modern-day fictional story. Needless to say, I was not disappointed at all. All of the history is here, plus there is an addendum at the end, and you see how those events still impact the village today.

Our brothers, Matthew and Isaac, change just once a month, on the night of the full moon. Although they become wolves, they are fully cognisant of who they are, where they are, etc. However, when a dead sheep is found mauled to death, suspicion instantly falls on them. They need to figure out who is framing them, before they have to leave the village.

Although this is classed as a Paranormal Romance, I would actually class it as Paranormal Mystery, as the romance part definitely takes a back seat to the main story. They do have "sexual relations" in the story, but it is part of the story, not just gratuitous. When the 'whodunnit' is solved, it was exactly who I thought it was, so there was no surprise. However, the raw emotion that is there makes it 'real'.

Very well written, with no editing or grammatical errors to disrupt from the reading flow, this book is different to my normal reads, but I thoroughly enjoyed every word. Definitely recommended by me.
