Until Harmony
Until Harmony - Aurora Rose Reynolds Until Harmony - Aurora Rose Reynolds

Until Harmony is the story of Nico and Sophie's daughter, Harmony. She has just finished her degree in nursing and moves back home to be closer to her family (the infamous Maysons!). You really don't have to have read the parents' books or even the other books in the Until Her series to enjoy this. They all stand alone perfectly fine.

Like all books in the Until series, this is a story of true love and insta-love, aka 'the boom'. Harmony is a planner. She has a plan for everything in her life and deviating from that plan is not acceptable. This made Harmony really relatable to me. I understood that! She liked knowing and having a plan means having control and knowing. There is comfort in that for lots of us (especially those of us with anxiety disorders and/or OCD...just saying!). Harlen likes Harmony instantly, but recognizes the fear in her over the idea of deviating from her plans. So, he plays it smart and becomes her friend. It was sweet and endearing and made their relationship even more solid.

The story is very low angst so don't expect a lot of danger and climatic moments. Its a sweet, sexy love story that I devoured in one sitting. There is a bit of drama/danger at the end but its minimal and quick. If you want a story that focuses on the couple and love without the drama and angst, Until Harmony is a wonderful pick for a weekend read.

Note: I can't NOT mention this. At the hospital, there is a "Dr. Hofsteder" and a nurse named "Amy Sheldon". Seriously!! If you are even 1/2 the Big Bang Theory fan I am, you get this! I was scouring the book looking for other possible names. I didn't find Penny, Bernadette, or Howard. Oh well! I'm not sure if the nod to TBBT was intentional, but I have to think it is. Its too much to be coincidental, right?

  • POV: dual 1st
  • Tears: no
  • Trope: insta-love
  • Triggers: none
  • Series/Standalone: stand alone
  • Cliffhanger: no
  • HEA: yes with multiple epilogues!

Driving Whiskey Wild by Melissa Foster, Cowboy Up by Harper Sloan, Lights to my Siren by Lani Lynn Vale...then you will probably like Until Harmony!

Stumbling Into Love
Stumbling Into Love - Aurora Rose Reynolds I didn't stumble into love, I fell heart first. Ms. Reynolds took the frustrations of love and created a tale that is angstful, emotional and endearing. Stumbling into Love reminds that even in the hardest moments, there is always a bright side to the heartache. In Mac's case, it materialized in the shape of tall, handsome and sensitive. Will she risk her heart for the happiness she thought she had with Mr. Wrong, when she meets Mr. Right? Looks like another winner.

Running into Love
Running into Love - Aurora Rose Reynolds Running into Love - Aurora Rose Reynolds

Running into Love is adorable, sweet, and fun. If you are looking for a light weekend read, its a perfect choice! The angst is low, the cute is high, and the romance is sweet!

Fawn is a teacher who hasn't had the best luck with men in the past. Levi is a detective who also has an ex who has made him a little cautious about love. But when Fawn literally runs into him and then turns out to be his neighbor, its kismet. Levi realizes quickly that Fawn doesn't see that he is interested. He keeps pushing her. Its super sweet that he isn't willing to just give up because she is clueless. Fawn has a crazy family that adds a lot of levity and humor to the story. Levi has an interesting family as well and when the two families combine, its great!

The story centers around the development of the relationship between Fawn and Levi and there isn't much external drama. Running into Love feels like a very believable love story that will just warm your heart!

  • POV: 1st (mostly Fawn but a few chapters from Levi)
  • Tears: no
  • Trope: police
  • Triggers: none
  • Series/Standalone: stand alone
  • Cliffhanger: no
  • HEA: yes with epilogue
