good story and characters
The Wedding Date Bargain - Mira Lyn Kelly

Max wanted to punch his best friend Sean in the face but the church was not the place to do it. Normally all the bull Sean spewed to the press and females didn’t bother Max.  Max was a cop and his partner  C J was getting married. Max was a follow the rules kind of guy but Sean had brought the one person that Max has problems following the rules around - Sarah Cole. One week ago Sarah had almost slept with Max  now she was here with Sean who Max didn’t know was Sarah’s boss. Max loved Sean like a brother but no girl he cared about was getting in with Sean.  Maax has the reputation of being a player but he was getting tired of different women all the time. Sarah hadn’t really dated anyone in eleven months and that had been a flop and he was a butt of major proportions Sarah thrived on the challenges of her career. The last person Sarah had involved with was Corey who was a butt and and she had been engaged to that was four years ago. Eight years ago Sarah and Max had become unexpected friends. Sarah had thought about Max a lot and wished she had made a different choice. Sarah’s smile had hit Max like a freight train all those years ago and he worked to get that smile as often as he could. Sarah had also loved Max’s smile. Piper was Sarah’s best friend and they had known each other since first grade. Sarah had a mission to get rid of her virginity. Max used to walk Sarah home after the library closed. But eventually Max let Sarah go because there was things Sarah wanted that she would not have been able to have with Max. But here Sarah was again and he wasn’t going to let her go as quickly this time. But Sarah knew Max wouldn’t be helping her out with her mission as he had the chance eight years ago and turned her down.

This was a good read. I loved how Max was very protective of Sarah even if it was even if it was the best thing for her. I loved Sarah and Max together they were just right. I didn’t want to put this down once I started it. I loved Sarah and Piper’s friendship. I liked the closeness of Max and his fellow cops. I

liked the plot a lot. This drag at times for me. I loved the characters and the ins and outs of this story and I recommend.

Waking Up Married - Mira Lyn Kelly

Waking Up Married by Mira Lyn Kelly
Story starts out with Megan and she's in Las Vegas for a friends wedding and the night before she meets up with Connor.
Having many drinks they go off by themselves and next thing she knows it's the next day and she's in the bathroom getting sick, having no recollection of what happened the night before.
He informs her they are married and all the details but they've yet to sleep together. She is not sure she wants to stay married and he knows there's just something about her, he wants to stay married and try to work things out as they've talked for many hours the night before.
There are rules and then she goes along with the three month trial. Love the travel and the descriptions of the places.
She is out to make him want out but he's got a LOT of patience. So funny the things she tries.
Steamy sex scenes and she goes to other countries with him on business.  Their past lives catch up with them.....lots of twists and turns along the way.

The Wedding Date Bargain
The Wedding Date Bargain - Mira Lyn Kelly Whenever I read a Mira Lyn Kelly novel, I'm reminded of a greeting card. With a few choice words and in a matter of minutes, each knows how to leave their mark. The Wedding Date Bargain uses Ms. Kelly's quick witted sense of humor to charm readers as she spins a tale of romance and awkward situations to warm even the coldest of hearts. Sarah is a bit neurotic. Max, a tad clueless. Yet underneath all the crazy you find a story of devotion that leaves readers with a good feeling from beginning to end.

Starting the New Year Off Right!
Waking Up Pregnant - Mira Lyn Kelly

Waking Up Pregnant - Mira Lyn Kelly

WAKING UP PREGNANT was delightful and exactly what I needed to start of my New Year right. It was cute, sweet and most of all, I had a lot of fun reading it.

Darcy and Jeff meet up in a bar where Darcy is Jeff's waitress. Did I mention this bar was in Vegas? Well, the bar is in Vegas and Jeff really wants to get to know Darcy better if you know what I mean. But, Darcy doesn't date customers. There's something different about Jeff though and she's leaving Vegas for a new job the next day, so she decides to throw caution to the wind. They have a wonderful date and then a more wonderful night back at Jeff's hotel. But, Darcy slips away the next morning without saying goodbye.

Three months later, she comes to his office and announces that she's pregnant with his child. And that is where the fun begins.

I could see this plot coming from a mile away but it didn't make me enjoy it any less. Both Jeff and Darcy were great characters. And as stubborn as they were to not be together, you just knew that it was a losing proposition. They were perfect for each other. And despite the arguments and the misunderstandings, you knew it was going to work out in the end.

WAKING UP PREGNANT is the second book in the Waking Up series by Mira Lyn Kelly, but you do not have to read the first book to enjoy this one. There is enough background given to understand how the first book connects to this one.

I've had this one for review for quite some time, and for some reason I wasn't able to get to it when I first downloaded it. I'm sorry for that because it was such an enjoyable read. This is my first book by this author, but I definitely will be revising her work again when I need something on the lighter side to enjoy.

May the Best Man Win
May the Best Man Win - Mira Lyn Kelly May the Best Man Win - Mira Lyn Kelly ARC Review: May The Best Man Win (Best Men) Mira Lyn Kelly

Romance is a small genre and Ms. Kelly knows how to spread the magic of love. From her addictive Harlequin reads to her swoon worthy Loveswept novels and her enchanting Sourcebooks titles she knows how to keep the fires burning. Her romantic soul shines through in every paragraph she writes and every adorable character she creates. What I love most about May The Best Man Win is that it combines the best of her traits to create a story that is light, amusing and hard to put down. Am looking forward to the rest of the Best Men series.
