Trust
The President's Daughter - Micky O'Brady

Alix has had so much taken from her.  Her body is not the same.  Her relationships with others' are not the same.  Her feelings about herself and what she can accomplish are not the same.  But all of this is about to change.

Sam and Ian are men in her life that help her in some way.  Whether it be emotional, physical, or mental - they both serve a purpose.  She cares about both of them deeply.  The question now remains, who can help her move on to her future?

This book was fast paced and exciting!  I loved every page and devoured it like candy.  I think the characters themselves are deep and rich.  I love the setting, it gives the writer a lot to enrich the story for the reader.  The book overall was one of the best I have ever read.  I am so excited for the next installment to this new heart thumping series.  I give this a 5/5 Kitty's Paws UP!

The Secret Service
The Secret Service - Mark Millar,Dave Gibbons Wow! Visually and in plot, this one packs a punch right off the bat. It's slightly similar to the start of the movie - which was what made me want to read this - but with a twist. Mark Hamill!!!!

I really enjoyed how different this was to the movie and I'm eager to read more.

Quite fun comic collection - like the film
Kingsman: The Secret Service - Mark Millar,Matthew Vaughn,Dave Gibbons

Having already seen the film, I knew what to expect from this comic collection. From a creative team like Millar and Gibbons, this series tells us about a young man recruited into the British Secret Service, what he has to go through to make the grade and various steps in his development. There’s unsurprisingly bloodshed, death and some sexual content. The series works well, slightly tongue-in-cheek, well-illustrated and interesting.

Recommended to all fans of Mark Millar and of fun exciting comics.

Wallace Intervenes
Wallace Intervenes (Wallace of the Secret Service) - Alexander Wilson

DNF.

I.just.can't.

Book # 8 in the Wallace series (written in 1939) sees the MC, a secret service agent, pimp himself out for King and country - with an inner monologue that reminds me of Bond's thoughts in From Russia with Love. I still hate that book.

Maybe it is a mood thing, maybe I could read this at another time, but right now reading this isn't working for me.
