The chemistry between them is made of strong, electrical and fiery current but the romance is quite sweet as these two wounded souls join together to achieve their goals. Lots of emotional turmoil flowing the pages along with the passion and romance which really brings these characters to life.

The fast paced plot is full of energy, suspense and excitement as they enact their plan to reach the arena, knowing that once they are there, things will not go as they expect. The danger builds the closer they get to their enemy and with a couple stunning twists the readers just have to hang on to every last word of this exhilarating, nail biting read.

The second book in the ‘Red Zone’ series is action packed and full of extreme suspense that has readers holding their breath and while knuckling their books or ereaders. The characters are strong, vivid and believable which makes it easy for readers to become caught up in their story and the chemistry between the hero and heroine sizzles with enough electrical current to knock out all the power to the building they are in. The relationship however starts off on an exciting wrong foot and is full of feisty and heated arguments as they struggle to stay alive while denying their attraction.

The plot is fast paced, full of suspense and reminds readers of ‘Die Hard’ type movies where the action never stops and the readers can’t possibly find a moment to relax from the pulse pounding excitement. The author has certainly created a wonderfully different futuristic world and a creative paranormal being that is sorta shifter life but really isn’t which makes this a fascinating, feisty and entertaining must read book.

The hero and heroine still has oodles of sizzling chemistry but the relationship has some emotionally turbulent obstacles to overcome and some secrets that have to be revealed which keeps reader glued to the pages of this second chance romance.

The holiday makes reaching for that second chance even more heartwarming and special throughout the steady pace of putting together a Christmas festival and the entire story has lots of holiday spirited events peppered throughout that really warms the heart and makes readers feel happy and good. The author paints such vivid imagery that readers feel as if they are part of the story which makes it easy to become completely captivated by the hero and heroine of this holiday romance.

This romance has strong, bold characters that stand out and their chemistry sizzles and pots whether their having a heated clash of wills, trying to resist their magnetic attraction or giving into the passion that burns between them. This couple are perfect match for each other but quite stubborn which keeps the relationship on a rocky slope and full of emotional turmoil that not only entertains readers but lets them get a ‘real’ feel for their personalities.

Thrilling suspense and intrigue keep readers on the edge throughout this fast paced plot as Nick and Evie try to figure out who the killer is and surprising twists keeps the characters on their toes. The author has created a small town story as the perfect setting and a group of characters that are interwoven with realistic interactions that allows readers to really get to know them. In fact, while the story appears to be standalone, readers would not be averse to reading more stories from this small town…like say Remy for instance. But regardless of whether the author brings readers more stories related to this one or not, she is definitely one to be put on the TBR list.
