This is book #2, in the Cover Six Security series. This book can be read as a standalone novel. For reader enjoyment and understanding, and too avoid spoilers, I recommend reading this series in order.

Daryl AKA "Zeus" comes to help out an old friend. He owes this old friend more than he can repay. Then surprises are in store when he finds out who the favor involves.

Kelsey has been on the run for so long, she trusts no one. When her father tells her she can trust Daryl, she has to see for herself. Then tragedy strikes.

This was a fast paced story. There was such a good sense of characters for this book. I loved that the heroine was strong, but could understand weakness. Not going to lie, the heat in this book is set on medium high. Such a great addition to this series, I cannot wait to read the next installment!

Still Brazen by M. Malone

This is book #2, in the Brazen Duet series. This book is in continuation of the first in the series, Brazen, and should be read in order. My recommendation is to read the Brazen Duet together.

Oskar & Hailey's story continues with trying to figure out who is out to get her. Several attempts have been made on her life. Oskar just wants to protect her from harm and keep her close.

Hailey is shocked with the news they got about their time in Las Vegas. She is struggling to tell not fall for Oskar a second time. If he leaves her, she wants to be strong.

This story is very rich and suspenseful. I love the characters depth's and devotion to one another. This series is incredible and hits all the highlights. There was heat, heart, and helpless. I was especially grateful for the compelling storyline and the character development.

Justin is getting ribbed by his friends about watching Vivi when she is near. It is true he is interested. When you are tongue tied, when do you make your move?

Vivi does not usually go out with good guys. Commitment gives her hives. Justin is so different from what she is used to. He treats her like a man should treat a woman.

This was such a great addition to the series. Steamy and sweet, this book just grabbed at my heart strings and I could not put it down. The main characters were very real to me. Their story weaved and fell into place. I really liked this book it was a joy to read.

Sebastian Rathbone? Dude. No way. He’s not a bad guy, but he’s not the guy for Jax. If anyone knows the guy for Jax, that’s me. It hurts I wasn’t even consulted. Actually, what bothers me the most is that she didn’t ask me to be the one. To punch her V-Card, I mean. I’m pretty good at what I do, or so I’ve been told. It should be a good memory. Something special. And lemme tell you, Rathboner isn’t going to make it special for anyone. I don’t like it that there’s this part of her she’s going to give to someone else, but I guess I have to get right with it. I’m the best friend. Not the lover. Jax and Matt have been best friends. They are close and tell one another everything. When she tells him she is ready to lose her V card, he loses it. Confesses to her she should choose him. She never thought this was an option and just had not considered this.

Matt is frustrated that Jax has a plan to be intimate with another man. He has been lusting over his best friend lately and feels they need to talk about the options. She just is not in the same place. So he has to have a plan......

This is a fun and quirky approach to the best friends become lovers. Each person is quite independent, and must seriously consider if this is a move they want to make. The characters have good banter, and the book goes at a good pace. If you need to feel good and get a smile, this is the right pick me up for you.
