"Peace In The Valley" by Ruth Logan Herne

My Thoughts....

I loved this heartfelt tear jerking read of the last series:  Double S Ranch # 3...Peace In The Valley this only this author can give to her readers.  What a beautiful read of a story of what will happens when one puts the past behind and now it's about faith and the family.  The main story was of Trey Stafford and Lucy Carlton however we are also given many secondary characters [Sam] and a few others that were truly indeed special in this very powerful moving read.  Not only was this a romantic cowboy story but so much more.  I loved how this author gives us a story of what will happen when a family turn to God for some healing of past wounds and we are even given some inspirational scriptures the were there to give them 'strength or encouragement' at the perfect time.   The story is definitely giving the reader a heartwarming story with Trey, Lucky and her children[Cade & Cody]. In the end the reader is given on fascinating story that will include quite a lots of messages that will be woven into this story giving the readers 'Gods' grace, embracing and forgiving one another as through love they are given second chances.  This author really did a well good job at giving the readers a fantastic ending in this series.  To get the whole story of Double S Ranch three book series get..." Back in the Saddle...Home on the Ranch and Peace In The Valley.'  The reader will truly enjoy all of them!

My View.....

What a beautiful read! Through many prayers and forgiveness ... again what a beautiful read and with that I will say you will have to pick up the good read to see for yourself how well this author brings it all out to the reader. Believe me it is one of those reads that will stay with you long after the read. And I don't want to forget to mention Dorian's mom [Ms. Mary] along with some other wonderful characters...Angel, Dorian, Patrick, Genesis, Sheila, Zoe, Sonya to name a few were all well developed, portrayed and believable helping to give this one novel that I would recommend as a excellent read.

My Views...

All I can say is that this author really knows how to write such a well written story that will definitely keep your attention. My thoughts of this read would dwell on will Angel after all that she has done and gone through will she have really learned a lesson from all of it. Wow, to find out just who that 'Bae' was truly hard to learn but when it's all said and done I guess in the world we live in one shouldn't really be too surprise. Now how all of this will turn on for Angel, her husband, the Bae, and a few more interesting characters we will have to read this author next novel: 'Thou Shall Not Commit Adultery 2.' I am sure the reader will get some well answered questions as to why and how this all happen in the first place for Angel.

"Grace and the Preacher" by Kim Vogel Sawyer

My View....

A little predictable read but still a good one that will keep your attention till the very end. The characters [Grace, Theo, Bess, Philemon & Earl] were all indeed interesting being very well developed, defined, portrayed and believable giving the reader quite a good read. I loved how one of the characters were right on the mark being that she was 'older, wiser women whose counsel was so solid and Biblical.' Be ready for a read about Grace Cristler and Theophil Garrison...that goes through a little bit of it all from 'laughter, love, heart searching, lessons that were learned, more adventures that will go on till the end with grace and finally redemption achieved.' This author gives this novel a beautiful setting for this story that takes place in Missouri. What will happen as Grace gets 'growing affections for a man who turns out to be a con man?' As the story goes on ... I loved how Theo was gifted for being such a 'Good Samaritan.' Now, I will stop here and say to get this whole story you will have to pick up this good read to see for yourself how well this author brings it all out to the reader. So, if you are looking for a good action read with some romance you have come to the right place as 'Grace and the Preacher' will give it all to you.

"Unequally Yoked: The Pleasure of Sin Lasts For A Season" by Demise Cook-Godfrey

My Thoughts....

The author did a wonderful job in her deliverance of 'Unequally Yoked' to the readers. There were
so many times in the read that my heart went out for poor 'lost' Christine. I can't imagine growing up in a loveless home and not being able to talk with my mother, father, sister, brothers, friends[no girlfriends]...teachers...etc.as it was for Christine. It seemed like every one in Christine's family had some sort of problem. Christine seemed to attract bullies [from school]on the daily scene. Definitely Christine needed someone to talk and listen to her. Christine definitely missed her late grandmother's teachings about Lord for she had truly been their for her. With Christine seeking her all in all with boyfriends that were there for one reason only. When it seems like she finally meets someone in the church to finally showing her true love knowing all she had been through, who was a minister, but as it turns out he wasn't really listening to her at all...therefore, things went south too due to the fact they were so 'unequally yoked.' I liked how this author brings out the subject on sex and how it has been dealt with so often in the church's. This novel was definitely not only a good read but one amazing, enlightening and inspiring read offering encouragement to lead one to Christ in the end. I did also enjoy "the book providing a separate Bible study guide and the quote provided by best-selling Author Michelle Stimpson."Would I recommend "Unequally Yoked?"....YES!
