I was given the option to have a 'FREE PREVIEW' of this new book.  I loved it so much and could not put it down, so I ran to the library as soon as I finished my preview, so I could finish the story.  So worth it.  God Bless my local county library!

 

Josh meets Kristen in a less than stellar way.  Then when they meet officially later, they already have to work harder to impress one another.  They are mutual friends of a couple who is getting married so there is a lot going on.

 

Kristen is involved with someone else when she meets Josh, so they are just friends.  For now.  If ever a chance arises to to take it to another level?  Well lets just say there are enough sparks between them to light up Las Vegas.

 

This was such a witty and fun story.  I really could not put it down.  I found the characters to be deliciously complex.  The heat and heart in the book made it a great read.  The pace was steady, and there was plenty of humor too.  I give this a 4/5 Kitty's Paws UP!

Kailyn meets her star crush at college on the way to class.  She ends up competing with him in law school.  Then they meet later on and he does not recognize her.

 

Daxton AKA "Dax" is shocked to meet such a fan at a college campus.  He has been trying to stay under the radar.  She is pretty and funny - so he lets it go.  Then tragedy strikes - and now he needs her help.

 

Such an inspiring yet sexy story.  Rare to put those together in a sentence.  Both of these characters has development to show growth.  Both of them shared the attraction.  It was a fun read.  I give it a 3/5 Kitty's Paws UP!

Wow! I had a chance to read a preview of the next Dark Hunter novel which will be released on August 28 and let me tell you that I can't wait to read this very exciting story. Just reading the small taste I got already has my pulse pounding and has me gnashing my teeth that I can't read the book at this very moment. 

 

Really, I don't know if I will want to read preview ever again. It's kind of mean to be teased like this. But, it is also good in a way because it means I know for sure that I won't mind spending my money on this book, but at that same time, it's Sherrilyn Kenyon so I know I am going to buy it, because I have been impatiently awaiting the release of Stygian as I do all the Dark Hunter Universe books. 

 

And since I know that many others out there is eagerly awaiting this book, I am posting some helpful links for them and of course for anyone else that might be interested.

So this is one of those obviously biased reviews, because hey, I'm the author so why wouldn't I kick things off with 5 stars?

And since it's embarrassing to gush about my own work (lol), instead I'm going to pop in a few remarks on why you should download this, read it, and follow me to get the full book when it comes out later this year. :)

1. It's free. And not that short. And pretty. And kinda pro. Oh, and it has an offer for a free extended preview ebook and audiobook inside, so that's a bonus.

2. It has ghosts. Since it's a preview, you'll only get to meet the first one, but trust me, there's more lurking around the next page.

3. You can say you discovered it before it got big. Like reading Harry Potter in the '90s. Except it's not Harry Potter. And there aren't any wizards. But there's magic, dreamwalkers, underground clubs, human sacrifices and dreams. Oh are there dreams. The kind you don't wake up from. The kind that eat you alive. But in the preview all you get is Cole trying to survive her job in the Tower. So, download and read this preview for some amusing dystopian teen angst... but remember. The dark fantasy is right around the corner. ;D
