Book Review for Primal Need by Piper Davenport
Primal Need (Primal Howlers MC Book 2) Kindle Edition - Piper Davenport

First off let us start off my saying that we love the cover and we really loved this current story.

This story was fun and intriguing and had a cast of amazing characters that we could not help but love them all.Once we started reading we were engrossed in the story to the very end and we could not put it down.

Wyatt we loved her from the onset of the story with her quick whit and vibrant personality which was a tell it like it is kind of girl and she was also a sexy and strong character even though she likes to play things safe but, that all changed the minute an arrogant biker decided to woo her.

Sundance Hum....that man was a whole lot of alpha and crude, arrogant and bit of and a-hole but, we have to say falling for a strong independent women had him toning things down and bit and we could help but love the sexy beast of the man ourselves.

The chemistry between these two was totally hot and sexy and the sex scenes definitely fan worthy."Smokin Hot"

I loved the plot and Wyatt and the way she cared for and love her brother aka Teddy Bear who had disabilities and we love how he captured hearts where ever he went.

Overall a really loved this story as it made us laugh out loud the entire story and had a bit of suspense and betrayals and lets not forget it had a awesome cast of characters and that love was found in the most usual of places and it was a love story that was paved with a lot of bumps in the road and a whole lot of groveling .... lol

We have so say that this story had one of my favorite endings. This story was also one that you were still thinking about days later and when it is still on your mind days later that for me just makes this one fantastic read for us !

It’s all in her head. Until she falls into the hands - and hearts - of two cowboys. Sexual dysfunction. The words make Sybill cringe, but after one too many failed relationships, she has to face reality. Her O-button is broken, big time. Sick of sitting on the sexual sidelines, she books a week at Boot Knockers Ranch. If a passel of rugged cowboys vying to bring her bliss can’t get her off, nothing will. Hugh had planned to sit out this week’s rotation of sexual therapy, but when he spots sultry Sybill, he pulls rank. His bone-deep urge to possess her isn't enough to coax elusive orgasms out of her body, though. And his resolve to give the lady whatever she needs wavers when she shyly makes a mind-blowing request. Riggs stepped aside when Hugh muscled in to claim Sybill, but he jumps at the chance to fulfill her ultimate fantasy - a threesome. But once they come together, all barriers are stripped away, exposing his love for the one man - and woman - he'd break every last rule to make his own. Warning: This ain't your daddy’s ranch. Contains cowboys administering sexual therapy to frustrated ladies - and each other. Fresh batteries recommended. You're gonna need ’em!

Our Review

Wow ! What and interesting read and super hot !Who would have thought to read about a Cowboy Camp that specializes in helping women in need whether sexual or getting over a messy divorce feel good about themselves again.Sex Camp ?Just loved all the characters they were interesting and fun sexy and bruting and just to damn HOT !

Just loved the concept of a bunch of cowboy's fighting over a bunch of women to have sex with them .Too funny.Although this is a working ranch that sells horses this Ranch specializes in helping women.Everyone of the cowboys plays a part. There main goal is to have there women leaving happy and feel good about themselves again and give them anything that they want while they are there. The men are at there beck and call.YEAH!

Just loved all the character's but, I alway pick a favorite on to rave about and my pick would have to be Sybill. She just surprised me the most of all.She arrived at the ranch hoping to get over her sexual dysfunction in not being able to have an orgasm hoping one of these cowboy's will do the trick. Sybill was a bit uptight and had a controlling personality I believe this is part of her problem she just needed to let go.Hugh her gorgeous cowboy was the one just to do that.Instant sparks between the two. Sybill really surprised me the most she had the whole another personality to herself that she kept suppressed but, once she let it come to the surface she was some Hell cat as the men would say...One man couldn't do the trick but two !Who would have thought the stuffy uptight gal is into threesomes ! And I just loved how she came to care for her two cowboy's so quickly they just all fit together. There relationship just worked and when things come to the end my heart broke a bit for her as there seemed to be no happy ending for her. Sybill was just a sweetheart loving caring and smart and love able all wrapped up into one package.

Have a mention too how much I just loved Hugh and how he kept saying that Sybill heart throbbed him after all the women he has been with one stuffy little librarian type is the one to make this sexy hot cowboy fall in love.He was just cute sexy love-able and bruting and I was just a little bit in love with him myself.Riggs on the other hand was just one love-able sexy sweet cowboy the kind you could spill all your secrets to and go to when you need a good cry on one's shoulder. He was just too adorable.

I just loved it and we are giving it 5 stars.Em is a fairly new author for me and I am just loving her books. This was one great fun read and I am looking forward to reading some of Em's other titles in this continuing series. Recommended Read to all that love Erotica reads! Some of our other reviews for Em!

EXCERPT

He swung his gaze around, grateful the night had not yet swallowed them. A flash of green a few feet in front of him caught his eye. Hair swirling about her, gown waving like seaweed in the wash, she floated on the surface—knocked senseless. “Damnation!” With several strong strides, he caught up with her. The tide drew her away but it was not strong enough to defeat him. The sea now up to his hips, he dragged Katelyn into his arms. By God, her gown weighed her down. Even for a man of his strength, he felt as though he were carrying a heavy sack of grain rather than a sylph of a woman.Wading to the boat, he hefted her out of the water and passed her to Logan. The man shook his head. “Sorry, Finn. We were concentrating on not getting tossed about in the wash. ‘Tisnae easy holding such a small vessel steady.”“Aye, have no fear. ‘Twas my fault. The lass has clearly had a shock and I should have been watching her more closely.”Logan laid her in the bow while Finn clambered in. He knelt by the lass and glanced up at Logan.“She must have taken a hit to the head.”“Aye, likely against the boat. Must have hit hard to render her senseless.”Finn nodded. “Let us get on our way. We can do no good for her here.”“Aye,” Logan agreed and backed away to help row the boat from the shoreline.Leaning over her, Finn studied the gash on her forehead with a grimace. Poor lass. She’d have a mighty fine headache when she awoke. The steady rise and fall of her breasts against the soaked green wool assured him no permanent damage had been done.“Ye’ll have to get her out of those wet garments,” Logan called out behind him.Finn clenched his teeth. “Aye, thank ye, Logan. I’m aware o’ that.”He ran his gaze over her. Damn his luck. He’d undressed many a fine woman but none had ever been out cold and an unwilling partner. No doubt the lady would be deeply ashamed he’d done as much. But he could hardly leave her to die from exposure. If anything, his sister would have his head.Fingers tentatively prying at the front of her bodice, he forced his gaze onto the wood just behind her head. But the wet fabric proved too hard to tug apart so he pressed his hands to her back and lifted her lifeless form. Icy skin and sumptuous curves flattened briefly to his chest as he fumbled with the ties at the back of her gown. By God, when had he ever blundered like a whelp when undressing a woman? But he had to admit, though he’d had little time to admire her and the swelling on her face did not reveal her features properly, the flash of creamy skin was tempting enough. In other circumstances—and had she been anyone other than a lady in distress—he’d have enjoyed such a sight. He had her face pressed into his neck as he pulled her gown from her. Soft skin under his fingertips forced his breath to stilt. Only the grunts of men rowing reminded him he was meant to be helping the lass and not enjoying the moment. Katelyn’s chemise and gown came away in one go and he peered behind him, narrowing his eyes at the men. “Keep yer eyes away,” he warned, “or I’ll be having yer heads.”

Sometimes all a girl needs is a little fling…

Talie Ronson needs a vacation.

From life.

Since she caught her cheating, loser husband in bed with his assistant, her life has been on a steady spiral—right into hell. Her car’s a junker, her job sucks, and her perfect, gorgeous sister likes to brag about her wonderful life every time they “do” lunch.

In an effort to salvage what’s left of her life and her sanity, she takes the advice of her kooky best friend and takes off to Topsail Island. A week at the beach, alone, is exactly what she needs to recharge, regroup, and relax.

Only, her alone time is about to get derailed.

Gavin Palmer’s favorite activity is walking around in his boxers and eating junk food. He and his neighbors have an understanding. They stay out of his business and he stays out of theirs. He lives at the beach, not for vacation, but for isolation. He’s had enough of people to last him a lifetime.

Gavin’s isolation is interrupted when his normally quiet neighbor starts disturbing his peace. He stomps across the sand to give the guy a piece of his mind… only it isn’t a guy.

It’s Talie.

She’d maddening, nosy, and talks too much.

But she’s hot and her bedroom eyes have him thinking maybe he’s had enough solitude. Maybe a week of company is exactly what he needs.

Maybe what they both need is a no-strings-attached tryst.

Tryst by Cambria Hebert –

(5 Star All The Way)

First let me say if you haven’t read any of the books in the “Take It Off” series then you are really missing out. Each stand alone is amazing and each one only gets better. I can’t even say I have a favorite because I have loved each and every one of them. But Tryst, well let’s just say Talie and Gavin won me over and as of this moment I have a favorite.

Here are a few of my favorite moments:
I picked up the pen. “Sign the papers.”
His eyes widened.
“If you think I’m the type of girl who will sit home and take care of your kids while you go shove your dick into any hole that will take you, just so I can have the prestige of your name, then you have no clue who the hell you married.”
Twin spots of pink flushed his cheeks. “That was crude.”
“Yeah? Well, it’s nothing compared to what I’m thinking.”

~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~

“Please don’t kill me!” I burst out.
A laugh floated through the night air and wrapped around my body. He put one of his hands on the door so that it rested where the window should be, his fingers falling down the inside of the door.
I snatched the keys out of the ignition and swung down to stab the fleshy part of the back of his hand. Seconds before I made him bleed, he jerked away.
“I’m not going to murder you!” he shouted.
“Don’t you yell at me!” I retorted.
“You tried to stab me!”
“You tried to kill me!”
“I stopped to see if you needed help. You know, because your junker car here stopped working.”
“How dare you call it a junker?” I fumed. My car definitely was a junker, but I wasn't about to let him insult me. I’d had enough of men to last me a lifetime.
“Sweetheart, I call it like I see it,” he drawled.
Damn if I didn't get goose bumps. His voice was like the velvet sky I was admiring only moments ago. “Well, okay, it’s a piece of crap.” I allowed. Obviously, his southern accent was making me stupid.

~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~

He pushed one of my legs over the back of the sofa and then pushed the other one so far open that my foot rested on the coffee table.
“Stay open for me,” he growled and lowered his mouth.
Oh. My Goodness. His tongue had a master’s in vagina-ology. I’m pretty sure I embarrassed myself with the cries that came out of my mouth, but I scarcely heard them.

~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~

That is just a small taste of what is in store for you when you pick up and begin reading Cambria Hebert’s latest Take It Off Book – Tryst. Now tell me, how can you not want to read that book?

There is no easy way to put this, Talie’s husband is an Arse, plain and simple, big fat hairy Arse. And if I was able to I would so give him a swift kick in the dangly parts. I mean seriously, what a flipping putz that man is and Cambria does an amazing job with his character, and when I read this all I could think about was my ex. Yep no lie, same thing, same person, I swear she must have read my story somewhere lol.
But Talie that girl, short in stature but HUGE in back bone. You go girl!!!! I would support her for her decisions from here to kingdom come and back. I am so glad her friend pushed her to take some time away at Aunt Ruthie’s place, even if the devil’s spawn cat lived there lol. I mean come on, a neighbor as delicious and downright melt you in all the right places hot. Who could ever pass that up.

Mind you its not all ohhey-gooey. But this story is going to have your eyes popping out in shock, your hands holding your stomach in laughter, then grabbing the tissue (Gavin’s story), and ohhing and ahhing and all that good stuff.

I am going to tell you – I was right upset with Cambria when I finished reading this book. Why you ask – well dang it because it never fails I cannot pick up one of her books and put it back down, so here comes 3 o’clock in the morning and I am done and like Oh. My. God. my alarm is going off in 3 hours I am so going to be looking like Medusa for sure. LOL

This book really touched home for me. I went through a similar situation that Talie did as far as the husband cheating goes so my heart broke for her the moment she learned. My heart leapt when she met the pain in the butt Gavin, you could literally feel his presence as Cambria is describing him from Talie’s POV. I love how Cambria wrote this story, it is a bit different than the others, but it was so good, no that isn’t right, it was perfect. You are going to ride the roller coaster of emotions, laughing one minute when the demon cat is attacking Talie, to full out belly laughs when Gavin is constantly coming to her rescue, to bawling when hearts are broken. I won’t ruin or spoil but like I said before this is by far my absolute favorite “Take It Off” series book.

Another winner by Samantha...

This was an enjoyable read light and easy reading. I always love reading highlander romances and anytime I can get my hands on one of them to read I am ecstatic!

I love reading Samantha's romance's as they are always so sweet. This was a page turner from beginning to end.Just a fun read that brought you some smiles from time to time.Love being along the ride of a couple slowly falling in love with neither looking or even expecting it.As always they are always those that plot to become between you but, you just have to believe that your love will overcome the obstacles in your way.

I always pick a favorite character to rave about and mine would have to be Finn. What a sweet an love-able guy you could not help falling for him yourself. The care he took with taking care of Catriona was endearing and so sweet.Finn was just a overall loving person who cared fiercely for is family and those that he is charged with to protect.Loving on one hand and deadly when he needed to be.Finn carried around some demons himself that he needed to let go and by loving Catriona he started healing even though he was never realizing it himself. My heart broke for him as he loved someone he thought he had no future with and had to let go no matter what, he had to do the honorable thing. She belonged to another....So sad as he never planned to let another close enough to him to love again.I loved Finn's interaction's with his sister.I loved the loving relationship he had with his sister.I love there interaction's he always had with Catriona to he always gave willingly never expecting something in return. He wore his heart on his sleeve without even realizing it. I was rooting for him and Catriona they made a wonderful couple they were both perfect for one another .With the help of fate and a Fae called Teile there  may be a happy ending in this couple's future.

Catriona was another loving soul.Even though she lived in a household with no love from her father of twin sister she turned out to be sweet ,sincere, feisty and bold.I loved how she took charge of her future.Willing to make the greatest sacrifices a women can make for her clans people without no thought of he own happiness. How can you not admire someone like that?Loved watching her fall for Finn. How could she not fall for this hunky loving Highlander?Catriona was a brave lass taking what she could in the moment knowing she would have to some day give up what made her happy. My heart broke for her loss she must endure.Catriona really surprised me though she was tougher than I thought she was. This was one bold and feisty lass who was determined to change her own fate.

This was just a cute and sweet romance that brought you some smiles from time to time. The story had amazing and love-able and like-able characters overall. The plot had a hint of  mystery and suspense as there was an interfering Fae there to be sure to bring this couple into each others path.A match making Fae who would have thought ?Really loved it a looking forward to reading the next book in this series.

Be sure to check out some of Samantha's other titles what I have read of her books they have all been amazing reads...
