THE ENFORCER by Stephanie Julian
The Enforcer (Redtails Hockey Book 3) - Stephanie Julian

Will McDonald comes to the Redtails where he runs into (literally) Jess Gardiner, the Redtails marketing director who is also the daughter of an NHL scout and a good scout herself (she recommended McDonald.) Both are attracted but she thinks a bad idea to act on the attraction. Will has no problem with acting on the attraction, but he'll follow her lead. When she gets the chance to move to the NHL to work in marketing, will she take the chance, or will she stay in Reading where she might get the chance to scout or stay with Will?

I enjoyed this story a lot. I liked Will and Jess. I also liked the rest of the team. I liked the flirting between Will and Jess. I loved when she finally gives in to the attraction. I got mad when they could not be adults over her moving to the NHL. I wanted it to work out. Will had faith in her but she needed faith in herself not to give in to the stereotypes. I look forward to more in this series.

Pack Enforcer (this is the new title for the reissue)
Enforcer - Lauren Dane

Full disclosure:The "fated mate" trope is not my favorite. It can be done in a way that doesn't irritate me and in a way I like. This is not that book.
What not to do:
1. Not tell the full truth. Nina consented to sex. That's it. Not a mating bond. Lex knew what was going to happen and deliberately didn't tell her the full story. That should not be okay. It's not sexy, it's disgusting.
2. Make the women (and only the women) go crazy with the mating bond. But wait! They don't have to go cray-cray! Sex with a 2nd man (tri-bond) with fix it! That sounds *super sexy*!
3. Sacrifice the plot. It was an interesting one. Someone in the Pack has gone Rogue and is stealing and killing. Backstabbing! Treachery! But......let's not focus on the that. It's about the sexy times.

And the 3rd partner with Nina and Lex? Lex's brother Cade!

(spoiler show)

And I need to bleach my eyeballs.
I read this for Romance-opoly Fated Folly moon track.

Book Review for Brinks by Winter Travers
Brinks (Fallen Lords MC Book 9) Kindle Edition - Winter Travers

This was enjoyable read to end things out in this series !The story although a serious one made you laugh and giggle as well and those old ladies of this chapter really know how to make us laugh out loud throughout a story.

We loved that this was a joint effort to take out the enemy and rescue Cora in the process and the author even gave us a whopping surprise we never saw coming.

The character's were great and the story just flowed which had some action and suspense and adventure and some major retribution. It's hard not to love the Fallen Lord men and their ladies as they make it so damn easy to do so.

Overall it was a sweet read for us with a perfect ending. This series and all the books included in it left us with so many memorable character's and although we have some top favorites like Wrecker and Pipe they were all great and entertaining and each picked and old lady that was perfect for him and Alice she is just one of those old ladies that will never be forgotten for sure.

THE ENFORCER BY ABIGAIL OWEN
The Enforcer - Abigail Owen

So earlier this year I was lucky enough to get an arc of the first book in the Inferno Rising series, The Rogue King by Abigail Owen. I was over the moon for this rich world of dragon shifters and the building dragonian political uprising all alongside a good slow-burn (pun definitely intended) romance. I was so excited to see another dragon book from Abigail Owen coming that I automatically requested it. In my haste I didn't realize this was actually the third book in her Fire's Edge series. I'm relieved to say that I had no trouble following along as this book actually appears to tie in with the Inferno Rising series and on the flip side could be read as a standalone novel. Although I highly recommend checking the other books out, I know I certainly intend on devouring the rest of the Fire's Edge books now.

This is such a vast interesting world. I loved getting a peek at another faction of it here. The brooding moody Drake and the strong spitfire Cami were great leading characters. The thing I really like about all of these books I've read thus far is that even the secondary characters are crucial to the plot and they are equally as entertaining! *Rune and Lyndi I'm looking at you specifically* I'm consistently left wanting to get to know them more. Give me books for all them please! I can't wait to read the Fire's Edge books that preceded this one! I'm officially a fan.

I received an ARC of this book from Entangled Publishing via Netgalley and this is my honest review.

Book Review for Cara & Gian by Bethany Kris
Cara & Gian: The Complete Guzzi Duet - Bethany-Kris

This story was one sexy hot and amazing read.I just love this author she is definitely the Queen of Mafia romance reads.I have read a lot of Mafia romance reads of late and this one just shot up to my top 5 reads for 2019.

Cara and Gian story was erotic and intriguing and full with a ton of drama, suspense, death destruction, betrayals and a love story the survived the odds.

Cara was my favorite  as she was one fierce and determined women who took a lot of public humiliation to be with the man that she loved with her whole heart.I loved her from the onset of the story. She was beautiful, kind strong and a speak like it kind of gal and you could not help but, love her from the very first pages.

Gian was a character that you just could not help but, fall in love with.We loved the sexy playboy with his witty personality and charismatic ways and lets not forget the sexy and sin dark looks and bad boy ways.

Overall we loved it as it was a page turner that had amazing characters and their was never a dull moment going on in the story and it was so suspenseful that it kept you on edge the entire time.

Recommended read to all!
