Welcome to Nocturne Falls, the town that celebrates Halloween 365 days a year.

The tourists think it's all a show: the vampires, the werewolves, the witches, the occasional gargoyle flying through the sky. But the supernaturals populating the town know better.

Living in Nocturne Falls means being yourself. Fangs, fur, and all.

Monalisa Devlin is a Will O’ The Wisp, a rare and potentially dangerous creature. Unfortunately, her greedy father makes sure she lives up to that potential. Monalisa is magically compelled to obey her father's evil commands--until he finally agrees to free her in exchange for one, last mission: Travel to Nocturne Falls and use her powers to force Ivan Tsvetkov back into the ring.

Once a champion on the supernatural MMA circuit, Ivan 'The Hammer' Tsvetkov retired after a devastating injury that left him unable to shift into his dragon form. Wounded and embittered, Ivan wants nothing more than to be left alone. Until an infuriating, stubborn, delicately beautiful stranger shows up on his doorstep and demands that he rebuild his life.

Posing as a rehab therapist seemed like the easiest way to get close to the smoldering recluse, but Monalisa quickly realizes that nothing about this mission is going to be easy. To gain his trust, she shares more of herself than she ever has before, and as their connection deepens, so does the weight of her secrets. She thought she was willing to do whatever it took to win her independence...but when her deception blows up in her face, will Monalisa discover that the loss of Ivan's heart is too high a price to pay? Or will their love rise from the ashes to burn stronger than ever?

"As a dragon, he was two things. A protector and a destroyer. It made for a hard life at times. A life many chose to live alone because it was easier.13% The Dragon Finds Forever"

The Dragon Finds Forever is book seven in the Nocturne Falls by Kristen Painter.

I really wanted to like this one, since I’m such a sucker for dragons, but I never really got into the story until about 50-60% and then I still had trouble focusing.

I liked the idea of having a dragon shifter as an MMA fighter. Ivan was nice and sweet. I like how he adopts a dog. As for our heroine Monalis a Will O’the Wisp. I didn’t care for her. She was blah and bit annoying with her melodramatics. Her turmoil slowed the whole story down and made things drag.

The romance was a sweet tame G rated romance. I didn’t feel that spark or connection; between Ivan and Monalis. There was something missing in the romance department.

I was also disappointed in the ending. We where building up for Ivan to return to the MMA fight world and have another fight. I was looking forward to that battle, but it never happened. All this build up and working towards that goal and then nothing.

The Dragon Finds Forever was just ok. It’s currently my least favorite in the Nocturne Falls series. Not sure if I’m going to continue the series. We will see.

The shifters are dying

And it's up to me to save them
Even if it means going to extremes.

As the future alpha,
Duty is the code I live by.

And now it’s time to make a choice.
Crossbreed or die.

I agreed to the Claiming ceremony,
but under my own terms.

With an insatiable hunger,
My raging wolf has ideas of her own.

And Five, sexy, dragon mates are what she craves.
All five are delicious and irresistible.

Why choose one mate
When all five make me yearn for more?

After all, the fate of the race lies in my hands,
And I plan to keep those hands very busy.

Blood Moon Magic is the 1st in the Elements of Twilight series. This is a #whychoose style novel. These books have potentially triggering elements and explicit scenes. This book has FMMMM, light MM, BDSM, torture, and dark themes.

Let's start off by saying this is a new author for us and we really enjoyed our first read by them.I have to say that although I have read some Reverse Harem books in the past I have never read one in the paranormal gene, but, I am really glad I choose this book to venture there. We really loved that this was a werewolf clan of alpha shifters that were mostly women who were interbreeding with other clans like the dragons and choosing them for their mates. What will there children be like? The Alpha clans are trying to save their clan from extinction and perhaps this is the way.

I loved the story from beginning to end and we loved all the characters they were totally awesome .Abby had choosen some smokin hot sexy dragon mates like Shaun,Kaleb,Justin,Marcus,Kaden who were all different and each one of them carried a unique magic element that made them even more special.Marcus had to be my favorite though as he had my mouth watering the entire story with his food porn lol  but, we loved them all.

The story had a great plot had tons of drama and a really touching love story. We loved that Abby's men courted her for months and were getting to know her and falling in love and also connecting and bonding with her all the while taking care of her sexual needs without actually having sex. Omg ! their were so many fun sexy scenes that made us laugh out loud. Can you just imagine 5 sexy hot sexy dragons tauting a women's lady parts for months on end ? lol

We loved Abby she was known as her Clans Alpha second in command to her mother the head Alpha and she was well loved and respected and had some amazing friends like Chey and Cara who knew to party and have a good time as well as having some really fun girls nights which brought us tons of laughs every time these women got together.

The story was one hot read and the chemistry between Abby and her 5 dragons made for some really hot sexy scenes. This story was awesome in our book and really engaging right from the onset of the set of the story and we were still engrossed in it to the very end.We loved the mystery and the magic that the story wrought as well as all the twists and turns the story took and learning that the people all around Abby were betraying her trust time and time again.By the end of the story so many secrets kept coming to light and we were finding out that their is someone or someones that are still out their wanting to hurt Abby and perhaps her clan.Something sinister is definitely in the wind but, time will tell as the story ended on a bit of a cliffhanger and Abby's story is not over just yet and we can't wait to see what happens next.

I will say that this new debut author did and amazing job with creating this engrossing tale for us to love and she defiantly made us fall in love with the characters she created for us .

A job Well done !

I'm Isobelle, a writer from Northern Virginia. I've been reading and writing for as long as I can remember. However, it wasn't until I crossed in that magical world known as my 30's that I shook off the last vestiges of fear and dove head first into my writing career. I started writing in September 2018 and fell in love. I hope you enjoy my stories because I pour a piece of myself into every page. I started this journey as a passion project, and to prove myself right.. Everyone deserves to live out there dreams. When not writing I'm also a fan of cooking, musical theatre and spoiling my dog. I love reverse harem, dark paranormal, urban fantasy and fantasy. I listen to my muse and write what she gives me.

My fondest wish is to write for all sorts of different people. I want to be very inclusive in my writing because I feel like there’s a place for that. I think that everybody should be able to pick up a book and find somebody they identify with. I want to write characters that are real, even if they’re in a fantastical world. Which means, touching on subjects that might be disturbing to some, but is a way of life to others. Life isn't all rainbows and lollipops. We have to go through a storm once in a while. That's what makes the reward sweeter!

Cody's Dragon (A Dragon's Treasure) by K.M. Mahoney Review
Cody's Dragon - K.M. Mahoney

How far is Cody willing to go to keep his dragon? Kirit is lonely and he’s sick of coming home from the king’s assignments to a cold, empty cave. After searching for years for a mate, Kirit decides it’s time to try a new approach. Against the advice of all his friends, he heads for the human side of the world. There he finds Cody, and the man is everything he could ever want. It takes a little bit of persuasion, but he manages to talk Cody into coming back with him to Faerie.

Within a week of arriving, Cody is beginning to rethink his impulsive decision. He’s trekked across more terrain than he would care to remember, been summoned to meet a king, and flown on a dragon—not an experience he’s willing to repeat anytime soon. Kirit’s growly possessiveness is starting to wear on his nerves, and the unexpected hostility he encounters at the palace is almost enough to make him give up. But Cody is stubborn. He may not be willing to admit it out loud, but Kirit has got under his skin. He may even, shockingly enough, love the big guy. Now Cody has to decide what he’s willing to do to keep the man of his dreams.

Review

Kirit and Cody are a great couple and this first book in the series is a fun instruction to the world..

I love heroes who want to fall in love and want a partner. Both of these heroes do.

Cody does well negative the world with elves and dragon shifters and others. and the romance is good.

New Release Review! A Highland Moon Enchantment (Order of the Dragon Knights) by Mary Morgan
A Highland Moon Enchantment (A Tale from the Order of the Dragon Knights) - Mary Morgan

Irish warrior, Desmond O’Quinlan has never surrendered his heart to any woman. He has no wish to have his soul tortured by love. Yet, the moment he locks gazes with Ailsa, his fate is destined for an adventure he never fathomed. He may have battled alongside a Dragon Knight, but his greatest challenge will come from within his own heart.

Ailsa MacDuff, a warrior among her clan, has no desire to have a man chain her to a life of obedience. However, that is before she meets Desmond. The temptation to allow this warrior inside her heart is a risk she dares to take, but one that could lead to a future of emptiness and sorrow.

When betrayal looms from within, the battleground of love is no match for these two warriors. Can the power of a Highland full moon be strong enough to unite or destroy them?

I just love visiting the Order of the Dragon Knights and A Highland Moon Enchantment enchanted me from beginning to end with wonderful characters full of depth and a steamy romance.

Desmond and Alisa make a charming couple full of electricity and charisma that pulls readers in and refuses to let go. Their romance is full of emotional turbulence and fire of a heated attraction that readers can certainly enjoy while the couple face the greatest challenge of their life which of course is one of their hearts making. Alisa is a daring character that I quite enjoyed getting to know because she certainly is not only a warrior but also very much a woman who knows her own heart and mind.

The story is full of thrills and adventure which keeps readers entertained from the very beginning while the author paints some vivid imagery that makes it easy for the reader to get caught up in the historical highland imagery. With danger and betrayals creating unexpected turns in the story, readers easily become engrossed and if they are like me, they will refuse to put the book down until every last world has been read.

A Highland Moon Enchantment is a great addition to the Order of the Dragon Knights series by Mary Morgan and since the Dragon Knights are quite sexy and heat up every page, it stands to reason that any warrior that can stand alongside them would be sexy and make a story well worth reading.

Dragons, duty, destined mates, and a deadly rival...
Silas Llewellyn, the last of a once-mighty dragon clan, doesn’t have time for anything but work and duty. He certainly doesn’t have time for love — not with a ruthless enemy plotting to destroy everything he holds dear. When a priceless diamond — one of the legendary Spirit Stones — surfaces in New York, Silas knows the jewel is nothing but trouble…just like the alluring woman who refuses to relinquish the gem.

Bartender Cassandra Nichols never asked to inherit a mysterious diamond, and she really never intended to come between two warring dragons. But with one near-miss escape after another, she has no choice but to choose sides. Before she knows it, she’s whisked by private jet to an oceanfront estate in Hawaii for her own “protection.” Is the enigmatic Mr. Llewellyn just another billionaire dragon who thinks he can claim anything he wants? Or is there more to the soulful stranger than meets the eye?

Love of the Dragon is book five in the Aloha Shifters: Jewels of the Heart series by Anna Lowe.

This series fast became an entertaining and enjoyable one for me to read. I do feel you need to read the series in order; because previous characters come into play, the hunt for the Spirit Stones and what destiny aka fate has in store for these characters.

Silas is one character the moment he was introduced I couldn’t wait to see who destiny threw in his path to help him learning that being the leader and taking all the responsibility on himself doesn’t have to be done alone. He’s a broody, honorable, and stick to traditions; dragon.

Cassandra, is a bartender that didn’t know about shifters or her witch heritage until about a week ago when her crazy aunt through all of this at her. Her world got turned upside down fast, but she handled it well and showed a backbone of steal even when she was scared.

I loved watching these two come together. Silas fights his dragon all the time, even when he knows that Cassandra is his mate. Cassandra didn’t know much, but she learned fast and didn’t let witch/dragon stuff stop her from falling for Silas.

I was pleasantly surprised by some of the twist thrown into the storyline. The ending was suburb. I’d know from the authors group that she planed to add one more story to this series, but I wasn’t sure how she’d tie it into the Spirit Stone storyline. The ending answered that question and it was well done.

As always Ms. Lowe created a wonderful story that kept me hooked from start to finish.
