Book Review for Jace: Phoenix Skulls Motorcycle Club
JACE: Phoenix Skulls Motorcycle Club (Skulls MC Romance #23) - Jessie Cooke

We loved this story from beginning to end.Jessie Cooke definitely one of our top favorite MC author as she is and amazing story teller.

We loved Jace's story it was heart felt and heart wrenching for what Jace had to go through as a young child but, regardless he did not let his past define him and he showed us just what he was capable of and that was loving someone with his whole heart something he never learned as a child because his father was nothing but, a cruel and bitter man.

Jace definitely faced trying times but, we truly believe all his trial shaped him into the man he has become. We found Jace to be loving, kind, loyal and deep down truly a good man but, that's not to say he didn't carry around some demons and was a little bit broken too and he could also be dark and dangerous just as the next man.We loved that through loyal friendships he has finally found a family with The Southside Skull and felt for once that it was right where he belonged and was destined to be.

We had to say that Jace had one heck of a colorful life that is for sure but, when he first met Beck for the first time he new he had found his soul mate and the one women he was destined to love and have someone love him in return.

Overall we really enjoyed getting to know Jace more in depth through his story and how as a nomad he made some really powerful friendships with both Wolf and Dax that will lead to him to have some amazing opportunities and the life he always wanted and dreamed and  also he met the women he was born to love.We loved being on Jace's adventure as it was quite the page turner and we loved it from cover to cover and everything in between.

Recommend read to all !

Book Review for Twisted with Chaos by Hayley Faiman
Twisted with Chaos (Cash Bar #5) - Hayley Faiman

Let's start off by saying we are really loving this series and that Hayley is a favorite author for us and we love anything she writes and she never disappoints and we loved yet another tale she has written for us as the story had an amazing cast of characters for us to love and fall in love with all over again.

This was yet another emotional and heart felt read that was filled with tons of emotion and drama,a ton of regrets, challenges, surprises, self sacrifices and a whole lot of danger.

Roxie and Tanner have been struggling with their relationship for sometime and a lot of it has to do with her mental illness and feeling as though she is not good enough for Tanner but, that doesn't stop her from loving the man but, in her process to protected him she is destroying him while doing so.We loved that their relationship was challenged at every turn it just made the fight to fine their way back to each all the much harder and all the more complicated and all the more sweeter and we just loved that.

We loved this touching heart wrenching tale and we saw that love can help overcome more obstacles than you think and that it is possible if you just believe enough in the love you that have for one another it a love worth saving. Are you strong enough to whether the storms in order to keep it ? This couples journey road was a rocky one but, we were rooting for them from the onset of the story to see if they were going to be able to achieve their happily ever afters.

Another gripping tale that kept us engrossed and turning the pages to the very end.

All of Grace's books can be read as sexy, "stand-alone" adventures. Her Happily-Ever-Afters are always free from cheating because she writes Alpha males, NOT Alphaholes. (You can figure that one out.) But be careful...she likes her heroes hot and her love scenes hotter. You have been warned...

About Grace:
Grace Goodwin is a USA Today and international bestselling author of Sci-Fi & Paranormal romance. Grace believes all women should be treated like princesses, in the bedroom and out of it, and writes love stories where men know how to make their women feel pampered, protected and very well taken care of. Grace hates the snow, loves the mountains (yes, that's a problem) and wishes she could simply download the stories out of her head instead of being forced to type them out. Grace lives in the western US and is a full-time writer, an avid romance reader and an admitted caffeine addict.

Commander Karter is a Prillon Warrior. His first duty is to protect his people, to defend the Coalition worlds from a fate too terrible to comprehend. Battle is his life. His heart. He fights. He has never once been selfish enough to believe he deserved an Interstellar Bride.

Besides, he doesn't have time to deal with a feisty human female and share a passion so hot it burns him to his warrior's soul. But he's been matched. He must choose a second and together, they must claim their bride or lose her forever.

Let's start off by saying that this is one of my favorite paranormal/science fiction romance authors and each and every story we just love.

I really loved this story from beginning to end.We loved that the story had a strong female character that would be able to stand up two domineering males both captain of their own fleets.

Erica we loved her from the onset of the story she was strong and opinionated and not a little women to be put in her place or in a corner and she was also a introvert according to herself but, took to her new position like a "duck to water".

It is always a dream for warriors like themselves to find a mate but, once they have her they both feel that the do not deserve her.The trio's love story was a rocky one for sure but, through love, patience and endurance and understanding and love this trio will hopefully beat the odds and achieve the love and happiness they all deserve.

We loved that we were able to see a vulnerable side to these hardened warriors even if it was only for Erica's benefit it made them more human and more love-able. We loved the chemistry and the heat they created as the really were perfect for each other and Ronan balanced them all as he seemed to be a little softer than commander Karter and the perfect mix of both worlds for Erica.

We are really loving this Interstellar Bride series and we are so looking forward to the next in the series. For us the author has done it again as we loved it as this story was filled with a great cast of character's for us to love as well as a few surprises.

Former military specialist and recluse Reece Hunt takes his job of protecting the Savage Kings MC very seriously. When one of their regular girls go missing, he won't rest until he tracks her down and makes sure she's safe.

While Cynthia Collins has loved every second she has spent with the Savage Kings, the problem is that none of the men have ever really cared for her. The guys are all starting to settle down and she's not getting any younger. Whatever hope Cynthia had of becoming one of the Kings' old ladies is quickly dwindling as she gets ready to turn thirty; that's why she decides that it's time to give up the club life in search of more.

After Reece shows up on Cynthia's doorstep, her plan of leaving the MC may unknowingly become more difficult than she expected.

For reasons Reece can't even understand, he begins sabotaging Cynthia's plan of dating men who don't ride Harleys or wear leather to try and lure her back to the club.

When Cynthia finds out what Reece has been up to, he'll have to either put up or shut up. It's been more than a decade since he let himself fall for a woman, and he's not sure if he's ready to go down that bumpy road again. Besides, he doesn't have time for any distractions from monitoring the club's security.

Reece has apparently forgotten that sometimes love has a way of knocking even the most stubborn men off their feet, whether they're ready for it or not.

This is the seventh book in the Savage Kings MC series but it can be read as a standalone. The preferred reading order is:

King's Road
Chase

Abe

Torin

War

Maddox
Dalton

Reece
Miles (Coming Soon)

Let's start off by saying that this was our third read by these authors and we really enjoyed it.I am a big MC gene reader junkie so whenever I get a chance to snag a new MC author to feed my addition I do and I am so glad I came across this series as it is so much fun.

I loved the main character's from the onset of the story. Omg ! I fell head over heels myself for Reece with all that cockiness and those sexy good looks.I have to say I have read a lot of MC romances but, this was one of those romance reads that was super sweet because we loved that whole 10 date rule before I will sleep with you deal.I have to say that I loved  the courtship that went on between Cynthia and Reece as he really did go all out to make them special and whether they were in person or on video chat let's just say those ones were a little more interesting lol.

We loved getting to know Reece a lot better as we already loved him from the previous books so we were glad to get to know his story.Reece's story explains a lot about him and why he chooses to be alone so much.Although Reece's didn't have the ideal home life he made some major life changes to see to the happiness of himself and his women and future family. Lost and betrayed and broken is how he  came to the Savage Kings.

We loved Reece with his sense of humor( who need he had one to begin with lol) his sexy good looks, loved his possessiveness and protectiveness for those he cared for and loved but, most of all we loved the lengths and the sneakiness he went to in order to win the girl who from the moment he met her wanted her.We loved the smart hot sexy computer nerd that made us laugh out loud time and time again throughout this engaging tale.

Cynthia we found to be feisty, sexy, full of fire had a sense of humor and was comfortable with owning up to her own sexual needs and wants and the choices she's made past and present and has no trouble at all speaking her mind.Cynthia has been running from her past but, while carving out a new life for herself she been healing and looking to he future in the meantime.

The chemistry between Reece and Cynthia was off the charts and we are sorry it took so long for them to find their way to one another because clearly they were meant to be together. There sexual encounters were super hot as well as playful. These two just needed to be in the same room together and we felt the heat and sparks all around them.

Overall we loved the story from cover to cover as it was engaging, funny, heart felt, fill with some drama and made us laugh out loud time and time again as well as shedding more than a few tears and had a sweet love story that was really touching and turned out to be one heck of an enjoyable read.

Recommended read to all!

Bareback - Chris Owen

Nope, this book was not for me. As many reviewers have said, the first 50% - 60% was all sex. This would be ok, if the sex advanced the plot or the characters, but it didn't. Plus, it was boring, and as you can imagine, repetitive. Once any semblance of a plot appeared, it didn't matter because I didn't care about either of the characters. I thought the so-called problems Jake and Tor had were inadequately portrayed. There were a couple of references of Jake ignoring Tor's tantrums, and of course there was very little communication, but we didn't see much first hand.

Then all of a sudden, after years of being in involved, Tor cheats.

(spoiler show)

At this point, I still didn't have an emotional connection to either Tor or Jake, and because the author skipped ahead in time and bypassed years of their relationship, I felt this was thrown in for shock value more than anything else.

I thought Jake's reaction felt genuine, and I'm glad he took some responsibility, but it felt forced and very unlike Jake. It's one thing to see your faults and acknowledge them, but Jake seemed to take full responsibility and that is just ridiculous. Then at the end, the author tries to shift the blame off Tor even more? That was the last straw. I don't want to be pushed into how I should feel about a character, and that's what I felt this author was doing. Both men had baggage, and both men screwed up, that's it.

I will now wash my hands of Tor and Jake :)
